Right? I'm fuckin pissed.
Just as I start figuring out my identity and start expressing my truer, happier self, I also have to start looking out for my own safety. It makes me want to fucking rage.

I personally look to see if the company has their own storefront. And sometimes it pays off in unexpected ways.

For example I was in the market for a soldering iron. I found a solid Hakko one on Amazon, but I decided to check their site first and, lo and behold, they had the exact same one for sale for the exact same price. BUT I could choose what color I wanted; Amazon only had the standard blue/yellow, whereas they had two other color choices.
On top of that they included an extra goodie of my choosing, which I chose their coffee mug (I forget the other options).

So because I took the extra time to look around, I was able to get one in a color I preferred, got an extra item out of it, and cut out the unnecessary middle man. Win-win-win as they say.

Sometimes, though, it's just not possible. I was in the market for a triple monitor stand as I use a unique configuration (ultrawide as my main, with two regular widescreens side-by-side above it). The only viable stand I found was available either through Amazon or Walmart. They did not sell directly from their site. So I had to choose which devil I wanted to support.

The image says what happens. It can't hurt you, it's against the rules.

Depends on the region. Some places will test it on noon on Sundays. The place I'm currently at will test it once a month on Wednesday at 11 am.

Adjusted for inflation that would be... $4.99 today...

I have a 34" IPS ultrawide from 2018 that I've been using heavily for work and personal use (essentially 14+ hours a day). Since it's an IPS panel I have no worry about burn-in. And I can keep using it for another 6-7 years without worrying about it.
With an OLED panel in the same scenario, I'd expect to see some burn in happening within 3 years of getting it.

That is a good question that I do not know. But since they're the ones hosting it on their servers, they may have the most legitimate claim to the ad revenue since it does cost money to keep the trailers on their servers and to stream it to viewers.

I am not a lawyer, though. This is just pure speculation on my part.

To my knowledge, no one technically owns the AI made material, since it wasn't made by a person. Thus no one should be getting any ad revenue from these videos since no one actually owns it.

DougDoug did a video on AI copyright a few months ago and is rather informative. Would recommend.

Can confirm about the unrest. My friend group is discussing these events daily. And a few of them are actually going out and protesting. I'm likely to join in this summer.

I keep this in my phone for whenever those thoughts hit.
