This makes me want to play GTA games. I never finished one and last played Vice City back when I would rent games in the age of that being a thing.
But this makes it sound like San Andreas is actually pretty based.

Recently, and I mean relatively so like 1-3 seasons ago, there was a weird Nasus tank mid meta. Not sure how that happened lol.
Now I want to play again...
I just watch pro games lol.
I like that old champs can stay viable to be honest. And they're usually sprinkled in with new ones as well.
Changing of the meta is also why I like that lane switching became a thing. People complained that it made the landing phase more pointless, but I thought it added strategy and changed things up.
That sounds like a him problem and not League lol
Yes!! That was him. I just could not figure it out. And then one day I lost a bunch of souls I had accumulated and I gave up lol.
Souls and Souls-like games are such a huge part of gaming culture that I really do feel like I'm missing out on something by not getting into them, or at least beating one. I tried DS3 because I heard it's the best for new players getting into the series, because it's more polished or easier.
My other friend swears Sekiro is the best one ever and tells me I should try that one. And hbomberguy has a video arguing that Bloodborne is the best one for new players, and I do have a PS4 and PS5. But I'm hesitant to buy a second Souls-like in case it does turn out to be the series isn't for me, or I'm too old for trial-and-error style games 😭.
Idk, I might just try DS3 again, starting from the beginning. You're the second person I've heard say they've come back to a Dark Souls game after some time and then it clicked. Maybe getting into the game with it being more familiar, but when the frustration isn't so fresh will help. I feel like if I start up my current save after not playing for 3 years I'll be completely lost about where to go or what to do.
I played some of Dark Souls 3 once. I got stuck on the ice boss, one of the first in the game I think, forever and haven't played since. Not sure if I'm just too terrible at this game or it's just not my cup of tea or what.
Knowing others can beat the whole thing at level 1 is crazy impressive.
See, that all sounds awesome lol
