Summary

A new poll found that 71% of Trump voters oppose Medicaid cuts, while 82% of all voters reject them. Additionally, 60% of Trump voters said cutting food and nutrition programs is unacceptable.

Medicaid has become a key issue as House Republicans push for up to $2 trillion in budget cuts to advance Trump’s legislative agenda.

Their resolution directs the House Energy and Commerce Committee to find at least $880 billion in cuts.

This raises concerns that Medicaid, which covers 70 million people—mostly low-income and children—could be targeted despite GOP leaders downplaying benefit reductions.

This American supports the priorities shown by the polling numbers.

We need more nations standing up to Trump, not more nations bending the knee. It doesn't just help you, it helps us.

Please rest of the world - SHUN Musk and to whatever degree you can, also Trump, exactly like this. Their egos can't handle it, and your efforts to de-legitimize them both may be one of our most effective weapons to limit the damage they do.

If his past performance + Project 2025 + Musk haven't combined to convince you that the first win was a surprise to everyone and his handlers are far more ready this time around, you are as deluded as those who voted for him.

  • Democrats spent four years trying not to piss off R too much by doing anything about Jan 06 (among other things), then 2 months trying to woo R votes

  • R spent four years getting ready for this, and are ready to tear shit down. Shit will go downhill rapidly after Jan 20.

He's worthy of our attention. Stupid and assholish or not, he's literally the most powerful man on the planet (aside from Elon Musk) right now.

Infighting among all those trying to deploy him as their personal attack dog is about the most hopeful thing we have right now.--
