I would hope this would be a coalition not a single choice. Putting all of democracy’s eggs in one basket seems too precarious given current circumstances.

France and Germany are both ready to step up to be the new voice of the western world. I will be glad when the US finally finishes falling down the “up” escalator so they can get out of the way of serious peace talk attempts.

Sure. Just as long as responsibility isn’t allowed to be hung on just one person.

Normalize calling it “the Republican administration”. It’s not just one person it’s a fetid mass of enablers.

And let them be upset. What are they going to do: withdraw support and start an ill-advised trade war? That’s already happened. That’s what being “a friend” of the US gets you.

My partner didn’t feel kicks until well intro pregnancy due to fetal position. It was very troubling (everything turned out okay.)

How odd to be cheering for China to stick to their guns.

Speaking from experience in Canada, the 90 days is meaningless. Welcome to the dance of constant tariff threats every two weeks only to backpedal when the market crashes.

He does not have the attention span to wait 9 days let alone 90. This man is a toddler with a flamethrower having a tantrum.

I think my employer saw the Shopify CEO’s mandatory AI memo and got a little overexcited.

As a web developer I’ve tried copilot and disliked it immensely. It didn’t save me time because my syntax memory and minimal keystroke workflow are pretty decent after 20 years of huckin’ HTML and CSS in various frameworks.

I feel like if I give studies or interviews from companies who FAFOd I’d have a better chance of arguing my point. Does anybody have any in their back pocket they can spare?

Yes, I am very aware of the irony that I could try to ask an AI but avoiding it is kind of the point in this c, isn’t it?

There you go. Spineless man baby once again backs away with a “pause.”

He’s tried this here in Canada for months and he’s backed down literally every announcement. It’s whiplash but past behaviour tells me this won’t stick, either.

After Apollo stopped working I learned I liked nice UI and no ads more than I tolerated vanilla Reddit.

That’s not a problem I’ll just go ask one of my historical trade partnohnoholyfuckwhatdidijustdo.

Yet spammers find my clients’ contact forms and send dozens of emails an hour until I put on recapcha and then it stops.

I would love an alternative that isn’t swapping one insidious company with another.
