QWERTZ because I've been living my whole life in Austria and this was always the default. Every time something is set to QWERTY (and my keyboard is still physically QWERTZ), I have no idea where most of the special characters are and have to mash the keyboard in order to find them. I know @ is shift-2 and / is to the left of the right shift key, but most of the others, uh...

I looked it up, and the Rettungsgasse isn't a thing in Germany on city streets, only on highways (Autobahnen) and roads between settlements (Außerortsstraßen). (TIL it's a thing in Germany on roads between settlements because here in Austria it is only a thing on highways.)

There's still an obligation to move out of the way for emergency vehicles, but there are situations where that simply isn't possible. There are sometimes dense urban traffic situations similar to the one in the video in Germany too.

Have you tried "new comments"? That works best for me because it makes sure that more interesting (more commented-in) threads are displayed more often, but I neither see the same stuff over and over again nor am likely to miss interesting stuff just because I don't look at Lemmy all the time.

"I saw in the pub at the weekend that they are now drinking. They were gathered together, talking, and then they were drinking. I'm really glad that they've stopped having that crystal and everything. There really aren't any drugs in Tarnazsadány, you can't find them anymore," he said.

lol

A legal question without the information where in the world you live (country, state, province) cannot possibly get reliable answers.
