Do you do it to the beat of the song?

Are you Hubert J. Farnsworth? Because you speak in his voice!

You sound like someone who would be more valuable to the state as a prisoner anyway! That's in no way an insult.
I think the big issue is that it was a culture question masquerading as a technology question. The interviewer was looking for a collection of the same kinds of prejudices that they themselves hold without critical thought, not someone willing to actually engage with the work required to accomplish the stated goals of the job.
This attitude is fundamentally pervasive.
This is complete American liquidation. The obvious intent is to leave nothing left over by the time the Epstein regime runs out of steam. It's a great plan if your plan for the future is for the united states to not have a future.
I quit four years ago. Before I could bring myself to throw out my booze I would stomp around and yell at it like it was the fault of the liquid for being so yummy. For several years I had dreams in which I was enjoying a beer or a whiskey of some kind, then realized with horror that I was not supposed to be drinking and had ruined all my progress by being thoughtless, but then I would wake up and feel such a huge amount of relief sometimes I had to make sure it wasn't a real shameful memory of some kind. Yesterday I broke an egg in my coat pocket while bringing it in from the coop and I joked to my wife that my coat was now just a couple ingredients short of a whiskey sour. Then I could not stop imagining the flavor of a whiskey sour with the feel of alcohol and feeling completely nauseated for a good ten minutes after.
Spent twenty years sucking it down but I broke free. Now I don't care about the price of booze or my supply of it, I don't get annoyed when I'm the only one with a beer at a party. No more over-doing it and being useless all afternoon. No more $25 stadium beers! No more bottles of 'apple juice'. Vodka in a water bottle to enjoy the fair. All in the bin, all long gone. I wouldn't even be thinking about it now if I hadn't broken the egg and made that joke.
Hey that's really good
Offer a nice bounty on them for the unhoused. Can't knock on your door if you don't have a door! If some of the parts inside are valuable enough to make the endeavor self sustaining then it's simply a case of successful morally appropriate civil disobedience.
I don't see what would stop a state like California from arbitrarily legalizing BYD vehicles just like they did with weed. The current admin has already used up most of the soft leverage actions it has available just to be pissy and 'they imported China cars!' would make for a particularly eye-rolling casus belli for the civil war they intend to instigate.
Sometimes if it's really bad and I'm on day 3 of a song and it has gotten annoying I'll have to intentionally corrupt the hook that keeps retriggering in my head. It's usually one or two notes that keep springing in and then the rest of the song triggers and starts flowing. When I catch the trigger in my head I grab it and intentionally start imagining that little hooky snip, not the whole song but just two or three annoying notes of it, and loop them until there's another association leading me out of the trigger other than simply leaping back into the song again.
I say to music brain this is you this is what you sound like, and music brain gets grumpy so I finally get some peace.
