TSLA got a bump in price during the presentation but it closed the day even lower than it opened. :)

The presentation was in the evening, even after regular after-hours trading. (Livestream was scheduled at 8:55 p.m. Eastern Time.)

But you're not too far off, the first prices recorded in pre-market trading the next morning reflected a bump, and then that day closed lower than the previous day.
