— 🇮🇷/🇾🇪/🇸🇦 NEW: Ansarallah’s rapid advance along Yemen’s western coast was planned by IRGC Quds force officers and carried out at Iran’s advice, according to Reuters
Iran provided intelligence, equipment, and direct guidance for the Houthis, urging them to seize the key port of Mocha and promising additional funding and arms.

Issue With Reporting
I think this is sloppy reporting by MES. Why take Reuters word for it? What evidence did they provide that the IRGC was heavily involved in this operation? I've seen little to support this myself, and if anything, it seems perfectly logical to assume this operation was undertaken almost entirely by Ansarallah.
The Reuters report to me seems like a way to try and discredit and underplay how effective Ansarallah is as a force, attributing their success to a local regional power rather than on recognizing Ansarallah's own competence. Yes, Iran has aided Ansarallah immensely, but they are very clearly a formidable force and the legitimate Yemeni government after all these years.
