Sen. Mitch McConnell returned to Capitol Hill on Monday for the first time after a three-month absence due to health issues.

He was seen leaving his home in a wheelchair en route to the Capitol.

“Today, I’ll cast my first Senate vote since I took a bad fall back in June. I’m really looking forward to being back on the Senate floor and seeing my colleagues,” the GOP senator from Kentucky said in a statement.

He didn't speak publicly while he was at the Capitol but he put out a written one later so he still might be.

How fucking funny would it be if he showed up alive for a day and then died

I've been waiting for someone to mention that, lol.

I honestly and unironically believe the current administration has a "Dave" plan for what they're going to do when the time comes for the orange chancre. There are NO limits for them, and they are not just going to leave quietly because the orange excrescence finally shuffles off his decrepit mortal coil.

Crazier shit have happened. Being exposed to so many people right after recovering from something catastrophic and being in an isolated environment can often lead to even more severe illnesses. Usually death.
