Another fun fact, Canada does this to foreign cheeses (among a few other things). Its a topic of debate right now when discussing trade deals with other countries

    I'm not sure how it compares, it all tastes like cheese to me πŸ˜„

    These laws are more about protecting local industries rather than anything that's wrong with foreign cheeses. Well, it helps against risky american food products when outbreaks happen.
