Okay but like, time for real shit. I am in Korea. I went to a thrift store and got his beat the fuck up looking Thinkpad T480 for like $25. No shit. I take it home and take it apart. You know what I see? I got a Samsuing NVMe 2tb and fucking 2 32gb of Crucial DDR4 RAM chips. NO SHIT!

So uh... in real life? Come to Korea and peruse the fucking thrift shops.

Curious, what store in Korea? Where? I'll be visiting Seoul soon, and was looking for some old electronics and thrift stuff.

Sadly, I have no idea what the name was. I had my korean buddy just tell me it was a thrift store, but I don't know the exact name. Also, I was in Suwon, not Seoul. You're probably gonna have luckier finds in Seoul tho.

Dayum, nice find... These days we've got so many people desperate to find a way to make a buck that you can only see deals like that far outside population areas. I haven't even seen any remotely modern computer in a secondhand store in years

I'd love to visit Korea someday, if I ever have the chance I'll have to check out the thrift stores. Even if I don't find a computer, old stuff is cool
