It's called doing anything. Like, these things he's doing are great, but it really shouldn't be headlines. These things should just be normal politician things. They're great because every other fucking politician doesn't give half a shit about their people, but they shouldn't be. They should be boring things, that are done, and you don't even know it has happened.

You can't give the blanket "Democrats" credit for this. The degree to which the Democratic establishment fought to keep guys like him out if power can't be understated. However the progressive parts of the democratic party are growing in strength and number by the day. I hope some day the party stands up for half of what he does. This is the only guy who makes me hopeful for the future

They'll immediately break down when he ends up legislating trans athletes to participate in sporting events, and the first highly successful trans Olympic champion will credit him for siding with their community after receiving the gold medal for 500 yard dash.
