At the risk of sounding a bit argumentative—and I really don’t mean to—Who?

You? Why are you arguing with me then, if it's just for fun and you admit it doesn't actually make any physical sense?

You think that I think quantum immortality is doable?

Why are you inserting "doable" into this discussion?

That would be because you said this:

I'm just cautioning people to not think quantum physics actually does support the idea,

Yes we are talking about if it is actually something plausible support by quantum physics, not if you are certain you can literally do it, but if quantum physics gives any sort of legitimacy to the idea at all as a coherent possibility. It doesn't, it's quantum woo.

Yeah, but I don't see anyone engaging with it on the basis of it being plausible. It's a joke super power.

I can be more direct, if you like. I don't think that you're really cautioning anyone, I think that you just dislike the concept and want to see that sentiment reflected in other people. The same way that some people argue about whether a popular song is bad or not.

It doesn't really matter, I suppose, I was just hoping you would see the social faux pas.
