Given that was the throwaway line of the comment, that's a rather uncharitable read of it. I love the purity checks though guys, really cool and meaningful dialogue.
In the theoretical reality where the USA isn't my enemy and I hit my head with a hammer enough times to find gambling appealing, my money being only worth 2/3rds would give me pause going to nickle and diming land. Apparently that doesn't give gamblers pause I've just learned, so fair enough. I'd need to hit my head with a hammer longer than I thought in order to meet the intellectual capacity of the average Canadian who visits Las Vegas in any context. I'll keep that in mind going forward.
