I don't know where else to share this, but I'm so proud of myself so I've gotta post it somewhere. I've finally got my first unassisted pull-up! It wasn't a goal I was working super hard toward, but I've noticed a lot of new muscle definition in my back, probably because I do a lot of rows, especially bird-dog rows and renegade rows. So I tried a pull-up and I was able to do one pretty easily! Not bad for a middle-aged lady! Now I've got a goal to do three. :)

Congratulations! It’s a really great feeling, felt like I was flying when I got my first one. You’ll definitely smash 3 before you know it!

Took me a while to understand what you mean with "got" it, was odd as if someone gave you a pull up :D

Once you get one you'll hit three in no time. I bet you're setting a new goal in a week or two.

Awesome work! Now do another to confirm it, to remove any doubts you may have (like I had) that it was a fluke. Then just keep in doing them - at work, at home, on the beach, in the forest etc.

Awesome, Was it over hand or underhand on the bar?

The overhand is known as a heave and they're harder but much better overall for back development.

I'm not trying to take away your achievement just curious is all

    Fuck yeah!

I used to do 15 a day minimum but then messed up my elbow and shoulder in an accident so I can hardly do one without extreme pain.

    Keep it up

Congratulations! The pullup bar is a pretty exclusive club, to be honest.
