Hey Lemmings!

I posted about the release of my Pokémon Gen 1-inspired TTRPG almost a year ago. I'm happy to announce that I've now written a world guide for that system!

The goal of PMA was to be an easy-to-prep and easy-to-run Pokémon TTRPG (which is not a given, as anyone who has experienced other Pokémon TTRPGs will attest). This world guide should be the final step for that. It includes a mapped-out region with a whole lot of settlements—each with NPCs, POIs, Gyms, and more—, 50 possible gyms to challenge, and 3(ish) enemy teams to face. This all should hopefully make prepping the game as simple as possible!

You can download the guide for free on my website or on itch.io.

Someone isn't scared of the Nintendo legal team I see! :D

Haha! There’s thankfully not enough money in TTRPGs for Nintendo to care.

They’re like the only ones making actual money with TTRPGs and even then they need Magic to keep themselves afloat!

Yeah, I think they don't bring in that much, but it doesn't stop Hasbro from trying to milk them.

My approach to keeping the game prep simple has mainly been to use the cities and gym leaders from the original games. Looking forward to reading this though, my players are always surprised when they encounter something different to expected RBY lore!
