My guess:

All testcases are passing, all verifications say everthing is ported correctly, only problem is that nothing works.

They will need to spend a year manually debugging before they can release something in alpha quality .

P.S. Anthropic’s C compiler and Cursor’s FastRender web browser haven’t had any commits for months.

That's a interesting catch. Did the agents lose interest? Definitely a speedup on the abandonment pipeline.
