So many people think that when Trump leaves his mortal boil things will "get better".
But actually, what are the odds that the next sellout-in-chief will be as stupid as Trump? We're just getting started
The CIA tried 307 times to kill the demon Lord but it turned out every agent working on the demon file was actually a double agent, including the head of counterintelligence.
(This is a post about Cuba)
Look the only thing that matters if I get fucking Isekai'd is that I am a woman in that world. The governments can go fuck themselves if I get my wish, ain't wasting time on being a fucking hero. Stop glorifying the hero grind and instead glorify whatever the hell having tea on the grass next to the (not polluted) Thames with a water rat and mole while wearing a cute sundress is.
I’m reminded of the manga (something about “I don’t really get it but I’m…) and she creates a bunch of horny toys and does yuri stuff.
Bad Guy: You know what Naruto, you're right, I was wrong. Let me just unkill all those people I just killed.
Naruto: Cheers
Bad Guy: I cant really walk around in public anymore so I'm gonna just fade into aether and die.
Naruto: That would be great, thanks
That last one, is sorta just GATE
Really like the concept of modern technology interacting with feudal realms able to use magic, so GATE scratched that itch really well.
The fan service and the constant presence of lolis kinda ruined it though.
It was fun to watch, but got old fast with pretty much every problem being solved by superior technology and firepower. Power fantasies are only compelling when the protagonists problems aren't solved by their strength, like with One-Punch Man
Then it's not a power fantasy. You just don't like power fantasies. (One punch man is a parody)
One punch is a parody that is also in love with the genre its mocking. Its whole joke is now setting up the exact same type of story, running it 99% through the same tropes, then ending it in a whimsical way while still having the epic battles, just with over the top side charectors until the very last minute.
In fact, the anime is such a big fan of its own manga, it has also shifted to using static images as much as possible.

To be honest, it was my brain off show for a while so the simple solution of "better technology more better" was enough.
But I totally get your point, and One-Punch man is a great example.
That's why I never touched it; the whole thing sounds like boring neocolonial milprop. If it's essentially a modern army vs. a medieval country with flying lizards, how is it any different from when the USA go shit all over a third world nation and then give themselves an award for being such great warriors?
My expectations may be colored by growing up in an age where RTSes were a thing but wouldn't a more balanced fantasy adversary lead to more interesting scenarios?
Like trying to do counterintelligence against someone who can use clairvoyance to listen in on your meetings. Or stopping saboteurs with access to invisibility spells. Or the fantasy guys figuring out how to do magical EMPs, taking your telecommunications and modern vehicles out of commission so you have to use message carriers and jury-rig technicals out of vintage cars.
I dunno, kinda sounds more interesting to me than the "modern military equipment is superior to a medieval army" that everyone always describes the show as.

Apparently the LN's effectively turn into that. The anime got too boring before that point and didn't get a 3rd season. Also I think the author went to prison for several years for tax evasion
In Return Of The King when the tower explodes the orcs and trolls that ran off all went and founded Florida.
Now that I think about it, are there any fantasy stories written from a marxist perspective with a focus on actual bottom-up revolution strategies?
The closest I know of is a manhua called, "Release that Witch." I wouldn't necessarily call it Marxist, but the hero enacts a bunch of progressive reforms, starting with ending witch hunts and instead working with them to use their powers to power new technology he develops, as he introduces an industrial revolution. His ideas and success are eventually seen as a threat to the powers that be, so even as he turns this random backwards village into a prosperous and advanced civilization, he also has to navigate the world's politics carefully to prevent a backlash.
It's been a while since I thought about it but I remember it being pretty good. It looks like they made an anime adaptation recently but I don't know anything about it, might be about to watch it.
Update: I did just watch it. Unfortunately, the anime got cancelled 8 episodes in, and as a result it's basically all just setting up for an event it never gets to. I enjoyed what there was of it but I can't really recommend it because of that. I guess you could watch it and pick up where it leaves off in the manhua or novel? Unfortunate.

These read like anime titles.
No, they read like light novel titles. Lately, light novels have been getting adapted into anime about as much as manga. Manga-first and anime-first works will have much shorter titles. This is due to there being absurd levels of competition in the light novel space for the last seven or eight (I think) years, so authors need to use titles that double as a short blurb; there are so many books coming out each month that potential readers don't have time to read the full blurbs for even a fraction of the books, so you need a very descriptive title to hook potential readers.
Is there a parody here? These just seem like completely normal anime titles to me.
