“Yesterday, the United States president described us as terrorists. We have been the victims of terrorism,” Pezeshkian said, according to the U.N.’s live translator. “I come from an Iran in which our esteemed supreme leader was assassinated without any legal framework or reason; I come from an Iran where in truth, they bombed a school.”

I never thought I'd root for Iran, ever, in my entire life. Hat tip to Trump for making that happen. Oi.

I can't legally agree with you, one of my parents is a naturalized citizen, I could be deported as an example at the drop of a hat.

Part of American propaganda is we don't talk about our incredibly dire water situation. If you don't live in a place that has a direct issue, like Flint, you don't know that the water supply is balanced on a knife edge, or that the infrastructure is crumbling and making the drinkable water we do have unsafe. Or about how many aquifers get fouled by the oil industry.

This place is a dumpster fire.

US saw all the other countries walk out and thought it would have the same effect when they do it. Pathetic.

Did the US delegation really “storm out”? Looked more like waddling.
