“It says rage, boy! Do not go gently! Rage against the dying of the light!”
post
lol so random! *holds up spork*
"Well, it has many layers to it, but it would make even the most stoic of men cry. I don't quite know how to dice it. Rest assured though, it is pungent yet tasteful, and has a strong aura that will affect everyone in the room. You have given your life for something truly savory."
'your employer was savvy enough in the art of security to pass his communications through an onion router'
Would you still love me if I was a sickly little peasant boy designated by the aristocracy to carrying messages back and forth for pennies?
I mean the unironic answer could be "A detailed scientific diagram of a plant that could help improve our agriculture feeding the city."
Now if it was a more steamy letter it might be more difficult to make it important.
Intricate negotiations to sure-up logistic relations between houses with the real posibility to prevent further war. maybe
Was going to say “you died for science, the potential value is behond my own comprehension”
Now if it was a more steamy letter it might be more difficult to make it important.
Imagine yourself in this situation and you open the letter and it's one of James Joyce's letters to Nora or that I'll be home in 3 days message from Napoleon to Joséphine.
I'm assuming the peasant messenger boy needs me to read the letter to him bc he's illiterate, but you don't need to be literate to look at an illustration unless it has parts labelled? And he's hoping that the writing makes it important? If its just an illustration tho then I'd call the little peasant messenger boy a fucking idiot for wasting my time
Messenger bot (edit: BOY, goddammit!) didn't open the letter bc he knew he wasn't going to be able to read it and also he has no authority to go around opening the messages he carries. You on the other hand are an arrogant bastard, so you boldly open it. You show the lad the Onion, he knows what an onion is, and you tell him it's a symbol for all the layers of corruption in the aristocracy, which he's also seen that firsthand. You tell him there will be a new kind of messages, not for individual lords but for all the lowly people, which will peel away the layers and expose the corrupt to the ridicule of the masses, bringing laughter and ideas of revolution into their lives.
You died for something with layers of meaning behind it, take comfort from this knowledge as you go.
