    If I remember correctly, Chevron was already buying oil from Venezuela. Exxon maybe.

  • They always did. I'm not saying they are clean or innocent in general. But in this specific case, they (1) already had a beneficial agreement, and (2) don't seem to have gained anything from the war. So, in this specific case, I don't think they were responsible (or they miscalculated horribly, which is also possible).

    Wait didn't his own FCC say that the AI companies should be held accountable for what the AI tells people to do? Trump is getting ready to use this for getting out accountability for his crimes. He attorneys are going point to AI for all the crimes he committed. They will say "AI told me this was the correct course. So Trump not responsible Musk is because his AI told me to do this."

    It fucking stupid argument and no sane judge would allow it. But goddamn that what the plan is.

    Grok is the Asshole of the AIs, and is used not only by Trump but also the to go AI from the US army and the Pentagon. What can go wrong? (where can I buy iodine pills? asking for a friend)
