I see like 50 mentions and alcohol and energy drinks. I got something different.

Kombucha.

Holy shit, it's like a soda that went off, and I don't even like soda. It is pungent and awful and I hate that it's marketed so well. Any time I see it on a shelf I'm like "Ooh, what's this fancy looking juice? That's a nice looking bottle. Oh, it's Kombucha, I would rather drink a cup of foamy dog vomit"

Deviled eggs. Every woman i know fawns over them and scarfs them down the second they can but its literally all of the worst foods plopped into an egg (the egg is fine, i guess)

That being said, i love the taste of medicine and look for things people complain tastes like cough syrup or nyquil

Red Bull tastes like ass. I never understood how it became the most popular energy drink.

Definitely coffee. I know it's super popular but I can't stand it. I kinda like the smell of it, but the taste I find awful and the aftereffects are excruciating and longlasting. Someone suggested I might have an allergy. I might or might not look further into this at some point

I have tried decaf though, once... chasing the hope that it would still -despite the absence of caffeine- trigger bowel movement at a critical time in my life. and it did! Apparently caused by gastrine, from my superficial reading.

Oh man, I absolutely adore coffee, it’s one of my all time favorite things. It like happy in a glass. But I’m getting old, and I can’t deal with the caffeine like when I was a kid, and decaf is just ruined coffee (not sure if it’s the process or the missing caffeine flavor, but I’ve never tasted a decaf I like).

But the unaltered stuff, I even much plain beans every now and again. Then again, I’ve never bought a can of coffee, my entire life I’ve only drank beans I ground myself, sometimes at the store, but it’s always started as a whole bean.

Not suggesting you try it, everyone is entitled to their opinion. Frankly I’m glad because it leaves more for me :)

Champagne. It tastes of bitter, sour and fizz and because of its stupidly intense carbonation, drinking it needs to be done in tiny little wincing sips, lest it bubble up through your sinuses and come out of your nose.

I swear people only pretend to like champage because they believe it's the drink for 'classy' celebrations, so disliking champagne is, in their mind, a 'low class' and ungrateful thing to do.

FFS hops are a preservative that make beer taste terrible. Why would anyone want an extra hoppy beer.

I quit drinking many years ago. I liked beer, but I would have said that it didn’t taste that great, even the best ones were at best…interesting . Once I quit though, I think it must be the alcohol flavor or something because I have found I really like stuff like hop water. Nice and fruity and bitter (in a good kind of way), it’s just lovely.

I've been drinking beer for nearly 20 years, and I agree. The only time it tastes good is when I'm craving alcohol. I would never drink it casually for the taste. And given that I'm a Millennial, I've tried pretty much every variety of beer in existence. They're all bad.

Try a radler on a hot day. It is a light beer like a pilsner mixed 50:50 with lemonade, either fizzy or flat lemonade. It is also called a shandy in the UK

It is very thirst quenching without being too sweet from the lemonade.

Thanks for trying but I've had shandys (shandies?) before and they're among my least favorite beer varieties.

I am of the opinion that alcohol and sugar should never mix. I swear it makes the hangover worse. FWIW I don't drink for the taste (because all alcohol tastes bad), I drink to get drunk.

I don't think anyone considers it "amazing", but what in the holy fuck is with 'gluten-free', and why the holy hell would I ever not want gluten if I'm not allergic? Are people conflating it with "glutton"? Do they think it'll make them fat? Gluten-free muffins sound like fucking torture devices from hell.

Pretty much all premade gluten free stuff taste horrible or the texture is weird. I agree, wheat is top tier. But since I can’t have it, homemade gluten free goods is 100% the way to go. Does is taste the same as its wheat counterparts? No, but at least the homemade stuff is fucking delicious.

Red wine, dry white wine. Sweet white wine is okay.

Bwahaha I feel exactly opposite this. Dry, elegant white is usually good, and not sweet red wine can be so good (not Grenache or Syrah but Cabernet, Nebbiolo, Merlot)

Sweet wine makes me want to gag!
