What if I told you live streaming the execution wasn't about the money? The regime will claw money wherever they want.

It's also a test. Can we get away with publicly executing people? They seem to have done it so far, cops and ICE have done it for a while.

It won't stop at public execution of death row inmates. The Nazi train is full steam ahead, and there will be a lot more death, a lot more suffering, and a lot of people enjoying every fucking second of it. Why? Because that's the only thing they enjoy. Its a disease that is only curable one way.

I've got a better reason... Watching it will only make you a worse person. And I don't mean in the sense it's morally wrong, but that the act of joining in the crowd cheering for suffering and death will inevitably chip away at your empathy

Even if it were Epstein himself, I’d be against it being publicized. Heinous crimes should be taken seriously and even if the courts agree to a death sentence, it should not be celebrated. No amount of death can change the damage that was already caused.

I am so far as to boycott any service which streams this. Even if it gets unpleasant.

I am astounded that especially Americans seem to be the ones who do not know about this. Even the public broadcaster here put it as a headline on both it's homepage and it's news segments, right next to the US showing they have no qualms with people who commit atrocities and instead attacking the people who fight against the people who committed these atrocities. Our newspapers (even the crappy free ones) also all reported on this.

It really shows the true mental state of the US - either so overworked that they can't engage anymore because of a lack of ressources, so overwhelmed by what is happening that they stop engaging with current events, fully committed to this insanity or a small part of the populace that still cares. There doesn't seem to be much inbetween anymore

To be fair, plenty of live assassinations in the US by ICE have already been streamed. This will seem timid by comparison. Having said that, don't worry, won't watch, but I don't think it's about the amount of people watching either. It's about the message, it's about sending your political opponents links to a public execution.

The scary part is how much of the world is heading in this direction now.

(EDIT: it’s been brought to my attention that people need their hand held so, what I am referring to here is that MAGA is going to use American military and social media to publicly execute someone.
