How is it that someone who isn't even an elected official yet, gets scrutinised for taking a few days to recover from sickness, but an actually elected official disappears for months and when people inquire, they get told to respect said person's privacy?

Like a Republican has been absent for months and the media was just like 🤷

Yes, no one was concerned about McConnell's absence and it went completely uncovered in "the media"...?

They are whooshing you because they were being very sarcastic, saying that it did get a lot of coverage.

I disagree with them; it should have been a daily and should be an ongoing scandal, etc. But I believe that's why they're whooshing.

Like I said, he literally reworded the original joke.

The original was not a joke...

No it wasn't. It clearly wasn't. Are you just arguing to argue? Or...?

Why do you think my first response was "yes that is what he is referring to?" It was blatantly sarcasm. Look where you are and look at what he said. You just reposted his joke. I'm done now, I'm sorry you're having such a hard time reading sarcasm on the internet. It can be difficult with just text, but you misunderstood and that's okay.

The first message from tidderuuf was serious.

    The reply was sarcasm.

The next person (you) missed the sarcasm or that the message before it was serious. That leads us to here.

Edit: also it sounds like you might be confusing me with someone else in this thread

Imagine scrutinizing someone for getting sick with the flu? That's the Republican way.

They probably just assume it's covering up some sort of scandal since they themselves always prove to have scandals.

Sort of like how all Republicans need to cheat like hell this year! Just like the other side! I truly think the masses believe that Democrats cheat to win. They are so stuck in their echo chamber that they just don't understand how people can vote for a Democrat.

You should have seen local social media. He was getting smeared by the right claiming he went into hiding, he was scared, he was quitting the race etc..

No, no no, he's a VA-GEN, and he was sick from eating meat, which being so feminine, he cannot stand and throws up all over himself after going to so many BBQs!

Honestly, this is nothing compared to what Jasmine Crockett went through. I’m sincerely disappointed in Texas for not voting for her.

Or maybe it wasn't the fact she was a woman. Just not a very good politician.

Voted for Israel aid and accepted AIPAC donations. Gun rights and cryptocurrency supporter. Used AI slop in her campaign ad.

Maybe that's why people didn't vote for THIS woman.
