Looks like we should kill the billionaires and then we won’t have to tax them.

I'd rather ban future Gavin Newsom.

I can’t wait to have to vote for this fuckhead because the only other option on the ballot is Grok Mechahitler after the dems help the GOP pass the AI President amendment

Well we have the primaries at least. I don't doubt the DNC will be fingering the scales hard. For all of Obama problems. He is proof their rigging can be subverted. I just hope at least AOC or someone better runs in the primaries. And if there are several. Those trailing behind if there is a clear leader will drop and get behind them. Because we know the establishment will line up behind Newsom or Harris as soon as they can.

I don’t doubt the DNC will be fingering the scales hard

    Why?

The DNC is controlled by the chair who is accountable to no one.

Last primary was a shit show because when a Dem becomes the president, he names the chair.

Biden named Jamie Harrison, whose only political accomplishment was raising a shit ton of money and losing to Lindsey Graham.

After him trying to shove Biden's corpse and then Kamala down our throats and failing the ~400 voting members of the DNC got to hold their chair election.

And they picked someone who spent the last decade running fair primaries in Minnesota, resulting in a purple state becoming progressive, because progressives win fair primaries.

    So, again:

I don’t doubt the DNC will be fingering the scales hard

    Why?

If that's the case then. I hope you're right. However I dislike all national parties. State parties for that matter honestly. And I have significant doubts that just changing out the head got rid of all the systemic rot underneath.

I would love to be surprised. But understand till then till I see it happen. I'm going to be skeptical. But here's hoping that he is what you say he is. And that Democrats don't find a way to fuck this up as they always do. There's one thing I can be sure about Democrats in the last 50 years having watched them. It's that they are professional losers who love snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

I saw what they did to David Hogg. DNC is not a grass roots organization, it's a corporate entity that is resistant to change.

    What "they" did?

Jamie Harrison didn't abide by the election rules.

It wouldn't have changed the election for what Hogg won, so the incoming DNC chair (voted for by the same people who elected Hogg) said it should be redone to be by the books...

Hogg refused to run, even tho it was a walk in victory, he just didn't put his name on the ballot.

Who the fuck are you mad at?

Jamie Harrison who fucked up the election and has nothing to do with the DNC today?

Martin for redoing it so itd be free and clear?

Or, should you be mad at Hogg for not putting his name on the ballot and then pretending he was run out because he never actually wanted to be vice chair?

The incoming DNC chair publically told Hogg that him getting elected on a pro getting rid of useless and protected incumbents with people who give a shit, pumping real money into grassroots campaigns for popular candidates even if they are in a district that has been controlled be a democratic necromantic corpse, was the worst things that have ever happened to him.

He made it super emotional and clear that just Hogg coming out and saying those things, being very critical of the loss, was already ruining his tenure, so he arranged to use the full power and funding of his new office against amother duly elected member.

Rather than continue that kind of waste and understanding how unpopular his platform still was in the mainstream DNC, Hogg chose to bow out. Props to him for the decision. After Ken Martin has been humiliated over and over again.

I remember really a hilarious article a couple months ago, lemme see if I can find it.

Well, he obviously didn't say that one giant rant of a sentence...

And no quote in the article is even close to it...

What are you even talking about?

Rather than continue that kind of waste and understanding how unpopular his platform still was in the mainstream DNC, Hogg chose to bow out.

So, he realized the people that just elected him, would elect him again?

Why the fuck did they elect him and Martin together?

    Think about that logically.

    Edit:

    Seriously...

If Hogg legitimately thought the fix was in, and that the equal opportunity rules Jamie Harrison violated were just an excuse...

Why not run again to show that?

The only logical explanation is Hogg never wanted to win, he wanted to lose and start his own party.

    Except he won.

And if he took the two seconds to sign his name on the re election form, he'd be a vice chair right now. Instead of whatever the fuck he's doing

He started another organization and continues to speak about gun violence. I think you'll see that ducking out of the DNC when he did was a smart move, and David Martin's choice to be a big ol baby about Hogg's message was the first of a calamity of errors that has led to the entire organization being be-clowned.

    Do you not remember:

“I’ll be very honest with you, for the first time in my 100 days on this job … the other night I said to myself for the first time, I don’t know if I wanna do this anymore,” -Ken Martin.

    What a bitch!

Oh I see why you were confused, the article I posted is about how bad Martin has been for his tenure, he's an article about how much of bitch Martin was about Hogg.

    https://www.politico.com/news/2025/06/08/martin-hogg-call-private-meeting-00393517

Ben Martin being a huge bitch about David Hogg.

Your problem with him is he cares enough to doubt himself and lose sleep?

    What a bitch!

    Seriously...

You're throwing out trump level insults, and your main point against Marrin, is he cares...

    A month before the midterms...

I mean he shoulda dropped out so much earlier, but Dems are gonna KILL in the midterms despite the DNC, not because of it. My point is Martin is a terrible leader who makes bad, emotional decisions. His first bad, emotional decision was attempting to oust Hogg. Thankfully Hogg bowed out and didn't let Martin waste DNC money trying to do it.

Much like post covid, people will be crawling through glass to vote against Trump in the next 2 elections. Hopefully the DNC and Dems won't take it as the last time people ever vote for Republicans, like when we elected Biden.

What are you even talking about?

    He's term limited for Governor...

And if you mean 2028 presidential, the only chance any neoliberal has is if the current DNC chair resigns. His entire thing is "fair primaries, and let the voters sort it out".

Neoliberals have never been able to win anything close to a fair primary.

That's why Hillary had to use Bill's charisma to get in the White House back in the 90s and hand neoliberals the party. They lost the party well.over a year ago.
