It looks like a soggy cracker in water.

You're supposed to boil that until the water is gone, bro.
The AI pictures an Indian restaurant in my area uses, really look like slop. Not like AI slop, but regular slop. Grey goo in tinfoil trays. I have no idea why they do that, the actual food looks better.
Is that the famous bread and water soup?
"Food" Ahh food
Japan has the peak method of restaurant dish advertising for restaurants: Sanpuru
I was just talking with someone about the old restaurants and cafes that would have the faded pictures of the food up in the light boxes.
No professionally staged, meticulously lit promo shots of impossibly perfect burgers. No AI slop. No looping video screens of people tearing and squeezing food in weird ways. Just a faded old photo that someone snapped exactly as it comes from the kitchen.
When will restaurants realize the ideal restaurant doesn't even have pictures of their food. A crinkled laminated text only paper menu, torn upholstery, and faded window paint is what the ideal restaurant looks like
Saw a guy do a presentation on how appearances shape people's perception, and one of the slides had two pictures of restaurant dining rooms: one run down with cracks in the wall, the other sterile and modern with Pier One style decor. He asked "Now which of these restaurants would you rather eat at?", and I don't think he was expecting the general consensus to be that the shabby looking restaurant's food would probably be way better.
I was at a restaurant that was doing a professional photo shoot for their food, it looked incredible.
This thin gruel could have presentation & sugar added to it and be sold as a $14 aperitif
Is this wanton soup?
