China has already produced their first AI movie, Madam Zheng. It currently stands at a whopping 2.2/10 on IMDB. After that, they made Chong Ju Zhi Lu and it received an astonishing 1.3/10.

I really don't understand why the press keeps calling these sequences of autogenerated images "the first AI movie".

"Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."

Chong Ju Zhi Lu got 1.3 on IMDB and yet somehow still won 8 awards and 13 nominations...

  • Most of them are awards only handed out in China. It's no wonder that they got them, since their government is very pro-AI.

If you look at the more "serious" ones, it received an award from Golden Schmoes for "Worst Movie of the Year", which is way more realistic. :D

Its the AI marketability paradox: if you can't be bothered to make it, why should I be bothered to consume it?

LMAO. You'd have to pay me to watch such things, and it would be by the minute.
