Arrested? .... I think she was assaulted, beaten and left on the street with nothing .... police were called but they never investigated because they were the ones that had assaulted her, drove her to the edge of town and left her with nothing.

Is that a reference to a specific Justitia statue? Because I am pulling a blank on there being any french-made ones in the US, except for one at the courthouse in the Bronx. That one's by a french artist, but it doesn't have the scales or blindflold.

I think they are thinking of the statue of liberty because she was in the news recently that the one French politician asked for her back. But yes, totally not the same statue/person referenced
