History will judge this moment harshly.

The history books are written by the winners. Let’s hope MAGAts lose.

Fascism never lasts. It's a self-destructive ideology that will start eating itself more and more over time. They will never win

The big issue of course, is about all the damage that's going to be done in the meantime. That's what I hope won't be too extreme

But if history is still a thing in the future, you can be certain that this moment in time will be judged very harshly

Yeah, it only lasted about 12 years in Germany, with the deaths of the entire high command, but we had to basically bomb their country into rubble to end it.

Texas no longer deserves to be a state.

They’re clearly spelling “MS-13”.~/s~

It’s basically an open air tattoo.

[–] Muehe@lemmy.ml 4 points 1 day ago

Nah they are spelling MS-05, which is just another chapter of MS-13, but the lying fake news media cut out the people on the left forming the M. /s

[–] AntelopeRoom@lemm.ee 96 points 2 days ago (1 children)

The left needs to deal with red states more aggressively

[–] match@pawb.social 97 points 2 days ago (2 children)

At this point, I say let them secede. Absolutely no aid to the country, but allowing people to seek asylum.

[–] frunch@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago (1 children)

But how much will we charge them to seek asylum? 🥴

[–] AquaTofana@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

As someone who unfortunately lives in Texas. Yes. Let this whole fuckin' state secede, and I will happily indebt myself to whoever I have to, to gtfo to a bue state.

Let Texas leave and take LA, AL, FL, MS, and GA with it.

I would just feel bad for any kids who live in these states with asshat parents.
