I’m not sure why you’re being so hostile, but you're fundamentally confusing a codebase's hand-written LoC with Git commit additions.

Nobody is saying someone authored 11M lines. Commit fa3e8525 was a workspace reconciliation - importing external repository code, dependencies, and assets into the public repo for the first time, so exactly the type of thing I was talking about. Git counts all imported lines as additions.

Before asking others to "stay in their lane", maybe make sure you understand how Git history handles repository imports and dependency tracking. Have a good day.

Not necessarily. Huge additions without matching deletions often happen during restructurings like vendorizing dependencies, importing external packages, generating bindings, or migrating private repos into a monorepo. In these cases new code canbbe introduced to repository and there will be no corresponding deletions in commit history.

I've did similar restructurings myself, eg. Making automatically generated resources static

You can have an anti-American or anti-EU stance without being pro-Russian. Russia’s current government and its actions are the embodiment of evil, and anyone who supports or justifies those actions in any way is a bad person or not in their right mind

Judging code quality by use of LLM in a documentation and commit messages is weird.

While I write all of my code myself and I'm against vibe coding etc., there is one place where I let a LLM write for me: readmes, commit messages and Javadoc comments.

I know how to write code but at the same time I'm shit at both my native language and even more so at English. So I let Language Models write natural language texts for me and just fix them when necessary. My documentation is more clear, grammatically correct and more detailed than in any of my previous projects, and I can focus on writing code.

And I wouldn't say "No one does that in a project they're building for themselves". I do that for projects that only I will ever see, and OP shared his project with others, so it's great that he included a clear documentation
