He seems to be using the word Israel in the very old fashioned way of saying it, which would mean people who worship the God of Abraham. It can also refer to Judaism broadly in that sense.

This guy seems to have believed Christianity is a divergent, but identical faith to Judaism but has been led astray by Christian pastors.

It's vitally important to know which browser is preferred by the guy who says slurs to an audience of children

The GDR (East Germany) formally recognized the state of Palestine and never had diplomatic relations with Israel. They also had military coordination with the PLO and supplied arms to Syria during the October 1973 war

protestors have every right to reenact every scene from the highway chase in the matrix reloaded

Oh sure I'd love to hear! I'll mark August 12th on my calendar.

Also I'm hoping to have another album out by...October or so? And I'll definitely return your favor by sending you files of my stuff when they're ready. I really respect you as a musician and think you've got good insight. You're also overall a cool person here and always super friendly

The soundtrack is wild because it's my understanding that while Beck wrote/produced the music, the actors playing the members of Sex Bob-omb actually recorded it while playing their characters' respective instruments (or at least they were involved in some of the songs)

like that's actually Michael Cera playing bass on the soundtrack and that's cool as hell. I love when movies seem like everyone involved was having a super fun time.

i hope this means that Trump wants to cease all diplomacy with Israel, recognize only the state of Palestine, and demand the Golan Heights be returned to Syria

because we're gonna be like North Korea, right

That's super exciting and I'm really proud of you!

When it's available for purchase will we hear about it?

Let me contact a few Palestinians to tell them they expect far too much and they'll never be happy

Seriously think about who you're going to bat for. You're comparing different flavors of Hitler and defending one.

Tasers can cause heart attacks, tear gas can cause asphyxiation, I don't even have to get into what those extendable metal batons can do.

Does everyone remember that one week where Biden was advocating that cops shoot people in the legs and libs were a little confused on how to message that? Half were ignoring it and the other half were trying to earnestly say shooting people in the legs would save lives (it wouldn't).

Fun fact there's no reliably non-lethal way to shoot someone with a firearm. If you're shooting someone, you're attempting to kill them. People have watched way too many movies where the Terminator or whatever will shoot someone in the thigh with expert accuracy, leaving their target in pain and immobilized, but alive. Yeah no. People are twitchy and don't have perfect accuracy. You're trained to fire at center mass not because that's the best location to shoot a person, but because that's where you're most likely to hit. If you're aiming for a leg you might as well be aiming at their groin, the ground, or even their head. And even if by some miracle you do manage to hit precisely in the leg as a non-lethal technique, good job you just lacerated the target's femoral artery and they'll bleed out in 3 minutes.

I fucking hate cops

Well Sekiro is the best cinematic, anime style swordfighting game. It makes you feel like an awesome lightning fast ninja. Best realistic swordfighting would be like Bushido Blade 2 or Hellish Quart. Those make you feel like a fragile human who can get gutted at any moment.

Hey everyone!

Six months ago I made a post about how how I managed to run a 5k in less than 30 minutes. Well just earlier today I managed to double that and ran a 10k in one hour! I'm extremely proud of myself!

I'm not very young or in shape, but about two years ago I made a promise to get better, lose weight, and have a level of fitness I can appreciate. I don't wanna get to 50 and be another overweight American with heart problems. I wanna look and feel healthy.

However I am incredibly lazy and scatterbrained, so I decided to go for an exercise that requires no equipment, no technique, and has a high efficiency for calories burned against time. My best guess was jogging/running would fit well, and I had done jogging for fitness way back in college. But that was just casual fun a few times a week. Two years ago I decided I wanted to do it right and focus. Go for longer distances, pace myself, record my times, that kinda thing. And it's working! I finished a 10k for the first time ever earlier this morning and I finished at 59 minutes 27 seconds!

I guess a full marathon is what I should aim for next. A whole lot is going pretty cool in my life ever since I started jogging seriously. I'm more comfortable in calling myself nonbinary and asexual, I'm dressing more nicely, I have a lot of creative pursuits now, and I don't get tired as easily. I wear makeup and no longer feel weird about it!

I wanna eventually get enough stamina to do a full marathon! Wish me luck, y'all. I wish you all luck and perseverance as well! I'm some lazy smelly goofball so if I can do it you all definitely can

fake-peppino-run (me every morning at 5:30 am)

I'm an amateur runner and yesterday I finally managed a 5K at a decent pace. 28 minutes 9 seconds. I was never fit at all when I was younger and I still think I'm pretty lazy, but I have numbers I can point to that indicate improvement!

I just wanted to brag a lil since I've heard under 30 for a 5k is pretty decent
