Christian liberalism teaches people the important truth, that when you fail at something and are forced to stop, that's actually a good thing because now you can't be judged for doing the thing on an ongoing basis. Doing things will make you impure and risk losing heaven, so it's best to just do nothing as much as possible. As your reward, in the afterlife, you get to happily do nothing forever in heaven; if you were to do things in heaven, that might ruin your mood and mess with eternal happiness, so it's best to just do nothing as much as possible.
Just in case I didn't layer it on thick enough: I do not actually believe this. Tis a joke. Though I do believe that Christian thought in the west acts something like this some of the time.
