    I feel ignorant now. It's the first I've heard of her. I knew of similar historical tactics with great effect, but I didn't know it went so far back. Thanks for the history lesson.

    I don't make the rules, but boob owners aren't a monolith and good luck convincing every last one to stop giving boob to rich men.

    If you find yourself questioning the veracity of that statement then ask yourself how Elon Musk ended up having so many offspring... it certainly wasn't because he had a charming personality or an attractive body...

    That strategy didnt exactly go phenomenally for the temperance movement, but I guess technically they did get two constitutional amendments out of it

    Don't quote me on this, but I'm pretty sure the temperance movement also played a pretty big role in helping women get organized for the women's suffrage movement. Also it gave us the YMCA and Salvation Army
