He also said Trump definitely committed serious crimes and are the worst against our country ever. As another poster pointed out yesterday, none of the republicans would even touch that as perjury because they knew it would be a nightmare of truth.

Or because it would be impossible to prove?

“Our investigation developed proof beyond a reasonable doubt that President Trump engaged in serious crimes against our nation,” Smith claimed at the hearing.

Yeah, I'll always defend Jack Smith. He's done more for our country than any other single individual in the last 6 years. It's not his fault he got shit on by a rigged and broken system. He did better than any of us could have in his place.

You realize that evidence and proof are not the same thing?

Yeah. You realize one is used to do the other?

Sure but it was NOT used to do the other. That's why the other doesn't exist.

One is used to do the other in a trial. It wasn't done because it didn't have a chance to. In the meantime it was enough to get an indictment from a grand jury - admittedly a low bar but still something.

That's not really how that works. You find the proof and then go to trial...

Ok, but the in quote from the other reply he asserts that they did develop it. So what specifically are they missing that any other criminal case would have had before trial?

Trump’s brand-new government website spent its first day telling Americans he lost the 2020 election.

LOL Trump learning what Musk learned not long ago. The truth is not your friend.

These machines don't tell the truth. Please don't suggest to others that this misinformation machine speaks truth.

Sometimes it's lies. Sometimes it's truth. Sometimes it's hallucinations. Sometimes it's disinformation.

It's entirely unreliable and everything must he fact checked.

Sure but they more often tell the truth than not. Especially for topics that are so overwhelmingly documented.

Also, "slammed" in the article. I think that word needs to leave journalism. The story is real and important, but the hyperbole is distracting. Seems kinda weird that they think people need to be fed news WWE style: "Wait! What's this?! It's Obama with a steel chair!!"

I don't want to see "slammed" in another headline until someone actually gets body slammed through a table on the House floor.

  • Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the most chaotic debate in Washington! The House chamber is absolutely erupting as AOC and Mike Johnson go toe-to-toe over the latest bill! Johnson has the floor, but AOC is having none of it! She’s firing back with point after point, the chamber roaring like a sold-out arena! Oh, wait! AOC is getting out of her chair. She's sprinting down the aisle. Here comes Steve Scalise. He's up and running toward her. Holy cow! Ihan Omar is running across the table tops! She’s leapt into the air. Wow! Flying side kick straight into Scalise. She's got him down on the floor and is pummeling him mercilessly. Hakeem Jeffries is...uh...lying back in his chair, talking on the phone with his donors. More on that later, but back to the action! Here comes Jim Jordan and he's got a chair! He's taking a swing at AOC, and oh my god! It's Adam Schiff with a gavel! Right to the head! Jordan is out! AOC has reached the podium. She's got Johnson by the Collar, making him look like a dork made of limp spaghetti noodles, which is his baseline, but perhaps he looks it more now than ever. She's got him up. Oh my, wow, right through the table! AOC has slammed Mike Johnson right through a table on the house floor! One! Two! Three! He's out cold! The Sergeant at Arms Raises AOCs hand in the air! H.R. 11,001 passes the House by TKO! The bill to outlaw recreational immigrant hunting is going to the Senate!

I do. I don't dwell on voting points too much, but given that they're there to look at it would appear as though I'm not alone.

This isn’t reddit, what a lame excuse

“Being obnoxious in public is fine because a few other chuds agree with me.” Live your life however you choose, but try to make better decisions. The ones from today don’t look very good on you.

What is he supposed to do? He resigned as special protector when Aileen Cannon dismissed one case and Trump got re-elected long before any action could conceivably be done (SCOTUS's "official acts" ruling didn't help things either)
