Truly one of the strangest people in tech. Imagine having been a Marxist and then turning into this? Deranged.

It kind of makes sense if you assume he was a leninist and by extension a stalinist.

Do you feel that AI is working for you?

    No.

Is it just a bunch of unpleasant people getting rich who ask obnoxious questions and refuse to answer the questions that they’re being asked?

    Since you’re asking obnoxiously? Yeah

I was like ...Yes mf just like you said, on top of its evil use in surveillance and war crimes, poisoning nearby living things with frequency noise, destroying our water and electeicty resources and inflating bubble economy on the expense of losing actual jobs

Yeah I hate it when people refuse to answer questions they've been asked. Only really stupid person would do that.

Seriously though why is anyone asking this guy his opinion on anything, is a fascist and his company is basically a fascist incubator. It's not like he's going to have a insightful nuanced opinion or anything.

Do you feel like AI is working for you?

No, that's like .. the entire problem. This guy has brain worms. "Just ask me softball questions, wah wah wah". Bitch ass.

Exactly the same way Trump answers questions he is not prepared for, by bullying his way out of it.

He just spouted all the AI talking points, desperate to get someone to parrot him because no one is believing the lies. It just sucks that no legislation is actually being worked on to curb the ridiculous amount of power and privilege these systems have over the government and common people.

  • source

That was already such a softball question, lol

Yeah I mean he literally could have just said “I believe that we can have a productive discussion and find common ground in our goals for the future of the technology and the prosperity of the nation” or some such smarmy non-answer. Like..dude immediately assumed hostility instead of listening and seeing the kid gloves he was being handled with already lmao

Seems he’s perpetually on the back foot and feeling some high anxiety about the bullshit he’s peddling.

Yeah I have that thought regularly. These idiots can't just keep to themselves and be rich and do literally whatever the fuck they want, they have to be in the public eye and fuck with our lives. But so far none of them seem mentally stable enough to maintain a good image if they're in front of the camera enough without a pr person filtering the things they say.

So I hope it gets to them that no one likes them. I hope they feel supremely lonely. Like that time Elon Musk thought he would be super cool and stream playing PoE but ended up rage quitting in silence while crying (in his private jet) because twitch chat spammed stuff like "Grimes will never love you" and telling him to pay child support. I hope they feel like that every day.

AI has to work for the warfighter and for enterprises

Do you feel like AI is working for you?

It's not supposed to work for us. I'm shocked by the honesty. AI is good for "the system", at the expense of individuals. I'm a little annoyed the clip cuts off there.

That's what I thought too. This isn't a mental breakdown. This is someone forgetting to keep up appearances. This is someone speaking his truth, because this is actually how it works. There is a lot of money in the military complex and drone warfare is quickly become the reality of war. That it sometimes targets schools, is a shame, but it's less costly than sending actual soldiers to the battlefield. I believe these are the kind of visions companies like palintir and the US army are build on.

Claude didn't just target the Minab school; it double tapped it. Also nuremberg etc. etc. Seriously the sooner you guys stop giving any benefit of the doubt to these chess players, the sooner we can fix society. Any day now.

Claude didn't target shit, Americans did. "AI told us bad people were there" is an excuse and a shitty one. Even if it did (and you can get AI to agree with any viewpoint so it very well may have), an actual human being made the call to double tap the school, either knowing it was a school or not bothering to look it up on Google maps before even ordering the strike.

Okay I agree that he's a nutjob and likely a psychopath, but I wouldn't call this a mental breakdown...

Idk. If the manager at a local mcdonalds gave an interview calling people stupid as shit and then rambling nonsense, people might suppose the same. The only time I've had someone do that to me they were clearly unhoused with some kind of mental health condition.

This guy is the head of an international corporation, named after an evil entity, owned by a famous Billionaire who is frequently in the news about cartoon villainy. He should ostensibly have some media training that details why this little crashout is sad, pathetic, and embarassing.

    Does Ai work for me?

Draw me a wingless bird made out of bacon flying in a frying pan with jet engines.

    Palntir "I got you fam".

So useful and only took 2 kilowatts and 27 gallons of water to produce!

A salesman that is not that great at selling.

Kind of reminds me of those sketches about self defense where you have to put your arm here, no here, NO here. Then it doesn't work anyway.

The mark already took the bait, just keep your mouth shut and act confident. I don't get it.

Mr. Karp how are you still finding so much cocaine after Palantir has supposedly targeted all of the fishing boats carrying it to the US?

karp looks like he just came out from the psychiatrist, with a mental breakdown. Thiel might not be pleased with karp right now.

I'd say it's cocaine or similar.
