Stop normalizing Bush. Remember when they gave Obama a Nobel Peace Prize just for not being him?

I didn’t spend my teenage years going fucking insane in Bush country to have this stupid, criminal motherfucker held up as some example of decency.

I dunno, says a lot when Bush has the moral highground lol

Bush is in the bottom 4 with Andrew Johnson and Buchanon, but we all know who is the objective worse.

Granted W. was a lot like Justin Trudeau, he was there, he did silly interviews but ultimately never did shit and let others call all the shots.

The scary part is that whomever the next Republican President is, he'll make Trump look good in comparison.

It's going to get worse before it gets worse.

Thinking abstaining from golf is empathetic is a bigger insult than the other commenters think.

It’s crazy that people are pushing memes like he’s the good guy.

This is juxtaposition, not apologia. There is a scale of awful, and Dubya is objectively on the lesser side relative to the Paedophile President, seditious traitor and inarticulate pissboy that he is. There is no section of the constitution that I know of which he hasn't violated. Dubya was many of the things which the traitor-in-chief is, and that makes the juxtaposition all the more apt. If they were supposed to be comparing a good president, they'd have picked FDR. Instead, they picked one who was generally considered one of the worst until that point to show that, even when you think you've scraped the bottom, someone can still manage to break the bottom of the barrel and scrape the mouldering, fetid carcass of a plague rat off the floor below.

George W. Bush still tortured and sent PMCs to massacre entire villages. He is not redeemable.

Frankly we should have been pissed enough to revolt with Reagan. And then we should have been pissed when Ford pardoned Nixon.

Corruption is giving aid and comfort to the enemies of the people. Id est, treason.

He was worse than people remember. I was old enough to vote against him and expirience how much American society regressed under his militarized evangelical shell game. It took the institutional deterioration of Dubya's terms to make a Trump presidency even possible. A lot of people here aren't even old enough to remember, some weren't even born.

Oh fuck you for portraying that piece of shit as only a remotely empathic or humane being. 150'000 to 1'000'000 deaths in Iraq.
