So, one of those companies must be fucked?

Twitter was fucked so can had to carry it with a merger and then carry that by a merger with spacex. Tesla has had ABYSMAL sales so yeah, now it’s time to carry it by merging with something else. Some genius. I mean he IS a stellar carnival barker, and he’s made some novel market moves.. but if he was this mental giant he and everyone claimed, he wouldn’t keep having to bail out all these failures.

I think for his supporters, keeping all the companies going builds into his mythos. If he lets any of them fail, suddenly he isnt on a perfect game anymore, and his valuation tanks. So he has to keep the circus going...

The people idolising him are too stupid to realise that he has failed a bunch of companies at this point.

It's not just stupidity in his fan base, they are all in on the scam. It's a gamble stock, worth practically nothing compared to it's valuation, but they got rich off of it, or see others doing so.

That is what society respects, not actually doing things like Nikola Tesla, but stealing his name, I would call it an actual form of cultural appropriation that is bullshit and not just white people trying to get offended for other reasons; but rather pumping up values and making parasitical profits.

None of them warrant even a $1T valuation. It’s all built on hype.

10 billion intrinsic value tops I bet. It's at least 100 times overvalued. Look at the P/E ratios, and then you would have to look at how they manipulate earnings. 12 price for 1 earning is traditional, depending on sector not sure of auto but I think it's even lower.

Edited immediately to correct profit to earnings

Do you even have to ask? Tesla sucks, it's being held up because it's a gambling stock, a meme stock, it has no fundamentals, it's P/E ratio is astronomical. Their flagship product was a flop.

This flying car thing is a joke, but his fan boys will eat that shit up. I can't wait for the market to correct, but I can because we just know the feds will bail them all out, and that follows for a democratic government too I'm afraid if history is any judge, and it is.

Now that spacex has been saddled with twitter/grok, I wouldn't say its particularly healthy either, but I am no expert. SpaceX alone was a genuinely innovative company, and still is a leader in space, but I dunno if it will continue now, or if it will just become another meme stock.

This flying car thing is a joke

Also a late joke, Top Gear made a Vauxhall Astra fly decades ago.

Similar stunt too, stripped it out, filled with helium.

Got two lemons (Xitter, xAI) being propped up by SpaceX (and dragging it down) , which he hasn't fucked up totally yet, mostly by keeping his nazi hands out of it. So let's roll in another lemon (Tesla), what could go wrong.

    So smart, such wow.

Two lemons coming together to make an even more spectacular lemon is kind of Elon Musk's birth and lifestory summed up isn't it?

This is just Elon trying to make new life the only way he knows how, don't be so hard on him.

makes sense. both companies make rockets and none of them have plans for making a car that people can buy and drive

This just in: oligarch says they'll buy debt from themselves using other people's money.

So, was anyone actually in his flying "car", or was this all just smoke and mirrors to make him look cool before he stole the midterms for Trump?

Just looked like a big drone to me.

Saw a shot from underneath, looked like a drone with roadster paneling. Everything they've put out since Musk got involved has been shit. I work in the automotive industry--they could offer triple salaries and most of the people I work with still would decline.

Looks like institutional investors hold the majority of Tesla shares. Let’s see if they are smart enough to put the kibosh on this idea.
