Wow the protestors were correct in their assessment? Who would have known...

That was never the point. The point is that even the media noticed this. The same media which seem to be in sleepwalk mode all those months. Heck, even inside Fox "News" the support is crumbling.
CNN still couldn't help but blame random Obama comments as the cause of trump's rise, as if "the heartland" had no choice but to elect a child rapist because Obama ate Dijon mustard. They had a choice. The heartland supports child rape.
Oh and don't forget the tan suit!
He’s far from the first major political figure to express disdain for voters they don’t agree with. Presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden, as well as 2016 Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, all had their moments.
Fuck CNN and this both-sides equivocation bullshit.
The way Trump speaks about and has always spoken about his opponents is beyond the pale. There's no comparison to anything that any other major politician in America has ever said. His brand of incivility is unprecedented, dangerous, and shouldn't be normalized.
Moreover, Democrats seem to have done little self-reflection over whether their aggressive push to implement their progressive values alienated more conservative Americans and contributed to their own defeat in 2024.
Fucking yiiiikes.
What progressive values did Kamala even have? She seemed more right wing than Biden was.
If you remember it first until the analysts/donors/strategists had a few good progressive plans she'd talked about.
She let him shut her up pretty quick though so there was that...
Yeah honestly the majority of Trump voters were more upset that Biden wasn't aggressive enough. Nothing will truly change and all that.
CNN took a hard right turn when it was bought by a right wing billionaire a few years ago..
Interview with formerly decorated lawyer under Trump's first term who is now sounding the alarm about lawlessness at the DOJ at direction of Emil Bove.
Former Justice Department lawyer Erez Reuveni speaks out about the disregard of due process and for the rule of law that he says he witnessed in his final weeks at the Department of Justice.
Eh..... I feel like this guy is a good example of the difference between a traditional conservative and a fascist. They want the same things and will fight for them, but the fascist has no qualms about breaking the law to do horrible things, while the traditional conservative just wants to reshape the law to do horrible things.
I'm glad he's blowing a whistle, but he's still a huge piece of shit.
This should be its own post in this comm. Would you want to? Or I can do it if you like
It's just a short video that supports the main article, so I wasn't sure whether to post on its own or not. Feel free to repost if you like.
Trump: "I'm not a King! I'm totally not a King!"
< posts a video of himself wearing a crown, flying a jet and dumping tons of diarrhea on the "peasants." >
No, Donald. You're definitely not a king. You're a 4chan sh*tposter.
He is a king, burger king!
He is a king, a ~~burger~~ berder king
FTFY
Show some respect! The Burger King has reigned for over 70 years (founded in 1954).
I don't see him popping open his laptop and producing an AI video. This was done by and approved by handlers. And not the smart ones.
And...? No one's saying he personally sat down and tweaked prompt engineering. But he's the president, and it's his administration. Remember "The buck stops here"?
Certainly not doing himself no, but don’t you think he’s petty enough to supervise the whole thing start to finish ?
Reminds of a story from a real Mad Man. Some clients would be shown the best effort, because those people understood the business and could appreciate how it would play.
Others would get three choices, the one they wanted to sell, and two low effort pieces for them to reject. Rejecting the bad ones made the clients feel savvy and in control.
Donnie was shown three videos and 'picked' the best one.
I'd bet money on that.
"Vance, clear my schedule for the next two weeks -- I've got an important project I need to personally oversee."
Not since the second stroke
Don’t fucking apologize for him. It really doesn’t matter who actually posed anything. The president of the USA official account (from his own social media platform, another big uh oh) posted a video of him as a king using a jet to shit on Americans.
To them, anything that distracts from Epstein is good.
His MAGats will laugh themselves sick over the video, because that's the kind of thing they would do themselves.
My wife called me while she was driving to work to let me know that there was a large sign hanging on a bridge (major highway) that said "trump loves Epstein"
This is in Texas. Love to see it. We woke now?

That's Barron's job
I was honestly wondering if someone made it in mockery of him, and he doubled down on it...
I think he posts clearly ai videos by design. The other day that Chuck Schumer ai video looked legit. Trump posts videos easily vetted as ai, so his base believes that's what ai looks like. Oversaturated, unnatural, glitched, etc. Now when another branch of the govt posts an ai vid as good as the Schumer one, his base believe its real. "I know what ai looks like, Trump posts funny ai stuff all the time. This didn't looks at all like that so it can't be ai".
While I don't doubt plenty in his administration would think of that, I have trouble seeing him thinking that far ahead.
Could definitely be getting fed AI videos with the hope of him reposting them for that reason, though.
Lol "the smart ones"... Because those exist.
Ok....? And? Therefore?
They’re just pointing out that this guy is so stupid he can’t even use basic tools without help.
That the entire entourage is so stupid actually, or that they know the senate and Congress are too spineless to do anything at all
I think we need to accept the government wont come back from the shut down and Trump's gonna have his picks on a private payroll and occupying government offices and positions in a new trumpistocracy. ICE will be moved into Pearl Harbor and Fort Bragg. Jan6 pedostache will be ur kids new teacher. Like a fucked up hermit crab that kills the owner of its new shell. It's a full on coup going on as we speak right now.
Lmao that would mean they have to restructure and actually run something from the ground up. Trump's only talent is running stable situations into the ground. He bankrupted a casino. A casino. His version of fascism is about to fall on its face.
The figureheads you see and their buffoonish actions arent the people pulling the strings.
The people pulling the strings are also stupid as fuck, just not borderline braindead like Trump. The only reason the fascists of the 1920s and 1940s were as stable as they were was because they got the nobility on their side, nobility who were on average well educated and generally functional. This modern crop are all dumber than shit and could probably be out thought by a sleep deprived high schooler running on caffeine and spite. The only reason they have made it this far is because the old guard who set them up to succeed did relatively well, but most of the old guard or dead or dying so what your left with is their braindead kids who would probably drink rubbing alcohol if they didn't have ketamine.
It's the last non violent opportunity he'll have to step down
only the grim reaper will make that stubborn old shithead step down.
A fucking incel was a few centimeters away from doing that. Any one of us can summon the from reaper at the time and place of our choosing. Never forget the power we all control.
We know.
But it's still important to write it out.
He’s far from the first major political figure to express disdain for voters they don’t agree with. Presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden, as well as 2016 Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, all had their moments.
I'm sorry, but what the fuck? What is this bullshit line supposed to do, beyond French kiss trump? I'm guessing it's just sheer coincidence that they're naming all Democrat politicians here? None of them even remotely behaved like the Cheeto does on a dialy basis
If you look between the lines of a lot of CNN articles/headlines, they are straight up pro-trump, at least insofar as not writing anything the admin would consider filing a lawsuit over.
Damn the paid comment trolls have reached Lemmy.
Daily reminder:
During a news conference with FIFA President Gianni Infantino in March 2025, U.S. President Donald Trump said, "They rigged the election, and I became president."
