I get what you're saying but I'm not seeing this as "electric cars suck" but more as "we found another place where we can improve"
This seems to me an issue that can be fixed with a few air filters which would require very infrequent replacements

Assuming that any of that is true (and I guess it is as this would come from Mexico, not trump) then this is actually someone that any country would want to deport. Hell, Mexico would want to deport this piece of trash.

How about instead of speed cameras you change your road designs? People won't speed if they cannot speed safely.
Make your roads less wide. Add some curves, depending on required max speed, you make the curves larger or smaller. On lower speed roads, add obstacles to drive around.
There are many forms of traffic management that don't require speeding cameras but then again, speeding cameras are for making the government money, not for traffic safety

It's such a sad state of affairs but then again, IDGAF. Americans chose this, deal with it. Your country is over, you're done for. Once you lose science and scientists, you're building your own end.
