So gross. They are going to wheel out this PoS and shoot him so MAGAts can get their jollies. Bunch of fucking sickos.

Tbh, I don't think the state should have the power to execute people, like, at all, except MAYBE in THE MOST EXTREME cases but I'd need to be convinced, and it'll be hard to convince me just because of how many false convictions there are.

But also if we're doing them anyway? Idk if I hate them being public. Make the people watch it if they support it. Bet they won't for long then, face the reality.

And one final thought: this thing with the lady they botched earlier? Yo why the hell aren't we just using Fentanyl at this point instead of whatever they use now that apparently is very painful? Do people know something I don't? It seems like such an obvious choice with how many friends of mine have died from it by accident.

The problem is you're assuming that people will find it distasteful and regret watching it, because that's how a person with empathy and a conscience would feel. But the people who watch this won't be turned off by it, they'll revel in it. It will stoke their bloodlust. They're incapable of empathizing with this person or whoever ends up being executed, because that person is THE ENEMY and the TV and government told them so. THE ENEMY isn't human, they can't be empathized with, THE ENEMY is terrifying and evil and needs to be destroyed at all costs. And it doesn't matter if the TV and government keep redefining who THE ENEMY is, as long as THE ENEMY isn't them, they'll keep supporting the annihilation of THE ENEMY. These people can't extrapolate information, or understand that they're not safe relying on the whims of an aggressive childlike tyrant. That's why there are so many leopardsatemyface type people who are SHOCKED that trump et al would turn against them. And the ones he still hasn't fucked over never learn, they just assume it could never happen to them.

  • The Kirk execution was public and seemed to be well enjoyed, perhaps they are looking for similar ratings.

I am losing…something…in me…about this country. It’s not the same one I grew up in. I can’t believe so many people are this hateful.

Felt like the racism had always been here, but after 9/11, a lot of "Christians" saw Muslims as an active threat to Christianity and by extension, the US. May have just been me growing old enough to be aware of the rhetoric, but I felt like there was a huge uptick in the "We are a Christian nation" arguments in the years after 9/11. There was a lot of hate crimes against anyone who even looked a little "middle eastern" and there were parodies of children's songs about bombing Muslims that I pretty much heard on a weekly basis for the better part of a decade. I think that time normalized racism in the 2000s, and made it clear that having those opinions wouldn't necessarily ostracize you anymore. Thow social media into the mix, and you have a self-generating fire of hateful rhetoric based solely on the hateful lies and hateful perceptions the algorithm feeds to you because hate drives engagement.

    Just my 2 cents there.

Maybe it was always really shitty in many ways that you didn't know, too. That's the bigger shock, I would imagine.

    Things have changed.

People have always had sick ideas, but they used to be set straight when speaking to others. Today they get applause from an increasing number of online followers. The hall of mirrors on social media is causing this evil to thrive.

The US was a mistake. So much about the country is hideous and vain. I genuinely instinctively trust people from Canada and Mexico more because I've had genuinely terrible interactions with US Americans on pretty regular basis. What people say about Israeli tourists holds true for Americans as well, the world has been forced to accept what the US has done to other places as morally good somehow.

This era is ending and I say to hell with the devil that is the American state

Friend, I can't say I disagree with you. But please don't let a relatively small percentage of people skew your thoughts of all of us. I don't think all Israelis are evil, just like I don't think all Canadians are nice. I know there's little that I personally can do to sway your mind. Just know that some of us are trying to right the ship and still trying to be good.

    Yeah nah I’m done.

It’s not a relatively small part of the population either, at worst it’s 35% full support.

For years the good ones have sat on their hands and let this continue. We hear nothing but excuses as to why it can’t be fixed, which change all the time to suit. We watch the political scene in our countries completely change because of CPAC influence, Seppo shit we didn’t ask for. Everything is going to shit, because of the United States, its leader, its corporations, its people, its politics, none of which we can stop because it’s forced on us or we’re threatened by it.

The people can’t be trusted, not just to elect a decent leader but turn on allies. They whine and make excuses for the problem, their fix is to expect others to step in somehow with sanctions or asylum, while they Netflix and chill. Each one refers to the individual, they’re not all bad, defending their own position. We get met with the same shit every time…if one’s not apologising ‘on behalf of’, another is attacking us for lack of understanding or whatever crap they come up with, which they don’t offer other countries.

I’m done with trusting them or giving them any benefit of the doubt and I don’t give a shit what they think of me personally for it. If I had my way I’d tear up our treaties and boot their soldiers off our soil but I get the feeling they’d try an annexation on us if we did, because that’s the kind of people they are.

  • All is an exaggeration but a vast majority isn't when you talk about Israel. It's basically actual demons with body counts, the loud but scared ones who support them, the shy ones who support them tacitly and then a minority (usually religious Jews, so basically actual Jews) who oppose Israel because they know it's a hellish creation. And those get beat up by the cops and arrested all the time. There's way more diversity in America so I think it's not as bad as Israel, ofc, but don't forget they're both Western bloodthirsty settler colonies that commited genocide so they could install themselves in these foreign lands...

I am sorry, I am an outsider, I believe it needs to be said very clearly what the US has been doing. It's the most obvious thing, and for its obviousness it doesn't get talked about at all because all fundamental critique is blended into constructive criticism that's meant to improve and prolong the system instead of abolish it.

Yes, not all Israelis are "bad", but most Israelis support the expansionist projects, just like most Americans have a very screwed up sense of nationalism, even some of the leftists (who'll believe in the supposed forwardness of both the American revolution and the genocidal campaign that was manifest destiny.) I don't "hate" US Americans, I simply am frustrated with the bullshit.

The US has such an odd social structure and a dependence on cheap imports. You wouldn't be remissed to call it the landlord of the world because that is evident even in the behaviour of the slightly better off to well off US Americans who are able to travel the world.

I'm actually quite happy they're doing this. Same as with the destruction of the White House. The more public atrocities they do, the more you can point to it later and ask if this is what we want again, and hopefully arrive to a more civilized conclusion.

The problem I see is that MAGA, rather than being an anomaly, is just the latest manifestation of our decades long descent into barbarism.

Well, yes. The oligarchs of the US have systematically been dismantling the education, social security, public services and other systems that have helped to keep them in check. One can hope that this time the consequences are so dramatic and so visible that even decades from now people can point back and ask each other if this is what they want again.

I'm sorry but I hate this idea.

We have no descended into barbarism. We've always been here. Either rounding up a demographic to imprison, murdering and torturing people while justifying it or stealing and looting the hard work of regular citizens.

There's only ever been a class war

The beauty about lone nuts with violent fantasies is that you can't really scare them into not committing an atrocity. Getting killed during a rampage is part of the plan, after all. If one good thing comes from this fascistic orgy of cruelty, it's that tomorrow's lone nut might make Hegseth his fixation. It would certainly do more good than offing some bigot podcaster.

Hasan was paralyzed from the waist down when he was shot during the attack. The Army will have to either sit him in a chair or strap him up to something.
