"I like it in here..."

Who wants to tell her she’s not alone?
And those 5 minutes are some of the most rejuvenating minutes you get in your life.
"I found something at the store."
Stawp. I will never get that time back. What a letdown.
And I was pleasantly surprised. I'm casually aware of online trends. I like a good SCP and enjoy horror. I was aware of backrooms through my kids.
I'm amazed a 21 year old made a movie on a YouTube horror meme and got a bankable star for said movie and the movie is not bad.
I can't tell you the last time I left a movie disturbed. It definitely didn't scare me but the story was disturbing and I quite enjoyed the ending. It implied she never actually left the backrooms, none of them have.
This movie was so disappointing. No exploration of the backrooms whatsoever, and a rushed ending.
First half was great and then it fell for the modern media trap of spelling everything out because you can’t trust media literacy anymore, on top of getting just plain goofy.
Basically, this. I was really engaged for the first half. Seemed like a mystery, thriller and horror all in one with a monster on the loose. When it started to turn psychological, it just got confusing.
I would have preferred there to be a wendigo or something much more sinister.
I never heard of 'the backrooms' before I saw the movie. I thought it was really scary and have been recommending it to everyone.
I reminds me of two other movies that I hated. League of Extraordinary Gentlemen and The Rocketeer were horrible adaptations, but people who hadn't read the original comics thought they were great.
Just alone with your thoughts. And the memory of your thoughts. And the memory of the memory of your thoughts. And the...
Which game is being referred here?
Ita a concept that came out of 4chan, that had turned into games, webseries and a movie.
The general idea of the backrooms is that its a nonsensical space where things happen that are "slightly Off" dangerous or not. The concept is open for interpretation based on writer. The general idea is to keep the space liminal and have uneasy vibes
It was a creepypasta. Then someone made some YT videos about it. Now it's a movie on HBO.
While it is a game(a few actually), it’s also a series of YouTube shorts, and a movie now. The Backrooms.
The author of this comic really doesn't like her children.
I have children and can absolutely relate. My son is the apple of my eye and I love him beyond words. But just the other day we’re hiking in majestic nature, the woods are colorful and lush, everything’s super quiet. And he just can’t fucking stop yapping about Zelda.
