That didn't happen.
"The files don't exist."

And if it did, it wasn't that bad.
"It's just full of Democrats."

And if it was, that's not a big deal.
"Old news, move on already."

And if it is, that's not my fault.
"Somebody planted my name in it."

And if it was, I didn't mean it.
???

And if I did, you deserved it.
???

That last one is going to be a doozey.

[–] aceshigh@lemmy.world 14 points 6 days ago

Re last one … they wanted to be models and make money, and Epstein made it happen… so they deserved being abused?

[–] 0ops@piefed.zip 11 points 6 days ago

We already know how the last one is gonna go. "If they didn't want to get raped they shouldn't be dressing so suggestively"

[–] FanciestPants@lemmy.world 9 points 6 days ago

And if i did, it was in my official capacity as president, so I'm allowed to do it.

[–] FreshParsnip@lemmy.ca 10 points 6 days ago (1 children)

"I thought the kids were all in college" or "I thought they were dolls"

Oooh, Oooh! Let me guess the last two!

Umm, something along the lines of "it was locker room talk." As in, "any guy in my position would have done the same."

And for the last one... "They were asking for it!" Like they don't think of the children as children, think of them as non-humans who were begging to be-

Ugh, this bit is too gross to continue.

The very same file that according to him checks notes doesn't exist?

[–] FenderStratocaster@lemmy.world 67 points 6 days ago (4 children)

It's very clear that he's on the list and that's not surprising. What's surprising is that out of all the people in these bureaus and government, not a single person is standing up and doing anything. It's unbelievable that there aren't and people with intrinsic good in them to fucking do something about this.

[–] DarkFuture@lemmy.world 42 points 6 days ago (2 children)

Last 10 years have really shown us how trash this country is, haven't they?

Americans aren't very smart. Americans are pretty weak.

Sad. But true.

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 17 points 6 days ago

Americans invented the propaganda systems which have now eaten their brains. It is currently being trained on the rest of the world.

(They also warned us about those same propaganda systems, but we didn't care about that.)

Heads up.

He has unfortunately systematically gotten rid of them through his two terms

[–] null_dot@lemmy.dbzer0.com 8 points 6 days ago (1 children)

Well, I'd like to be surprised that POTUS was visiting a rape island, but having observed Trump for nearly a decade it's entirely predictable that he would do that given the opportunity.

I think you could sort the members and supporters of his regime broadly into 3 categories:

  • there's the MAGA people who are on board because they're sick of the wokerati telling them what to do. They're not really "engaged" with the politics. These are the "leopards ate my face" types.
  • there's the apathetic conservatives who are trying not to look too closely, don't necessarily like Trump, but support conservative policies and aren't going to oppose him.
  • then there's the active supporters like the FBI agents reviewing the files or republicans voting not to release them. They're complicit for their own benefit.

It's just a giant child sex trafficking ring you shouldn't take politics so seriously

[–] Steve@startrek.website 51 points 6 days ago (2 children)

Because he fucked children.

[–] slaneesh_is_right@lemmy.org 17 points 6 days ago (1 children)

I just fucked some child and then, believe it or not, i was suddenly on the list. I barely even knew that Jeffrey guy

[–] Steve@startrek.website 13 points 6 days ago* (last edited 6 days ago)

Probably some democrat planted trump’s penis inside that child.

Sorry, I meant those children

[–] Mediocre_Bard@lemmy.world 12 points 6 days ago

Raped. The sitting President of the United States is a child rapist.

[–] FreshParsnip@lemmy.ca 36 points 6 days ago (1 children)

A ha, he knows his name is in there and is trying to cover his tracks

[–] FinalRemix@lemmy.world 21 points 6 days ago (1 children)

They don't exist.
Okay they exist, but I'm not in them.
√Okay I'm in them but it's a forgery.
So what if I'm really in them?
Anyone who isn't in them an enemy of the state.

[–] WraithGear@lemmy.world 24 points 6 days ago* (last edited 6 days ago)

yea, by Epstien.

[–] Wolf@lemmy.today 28 points 6 days ago (1 children)

Anyone who believes Trump "Hasn't been interested" in whether his name is on the list or not...

Anyone who believes lifelong Republican and Trump Collaborator J. Comey can see the future...

Anyone who believes that the Biden administration went through the trouble of doctoring evidence to set up Trump just in case he was elected in the future and pressured to release the files...

Anyone who believes that he hasn't already decided to pardon Ghislaine Maxwell in exchange for her compiling a list of 100 of Trumps enemies...

Is a fucking idiot, even by MAGAt standards, and that's already as low of a bar as it's possible to have.

[–] EightBitBlood@lemmy.world 17 points 6 days ago (4 children)

MAGA still believes MILLIONS of votes for Biden were from migrants bused in from Mexico.

If you took all the busses in the entirety of the USA, and used them at once, you could, at most, be able to transport 800,000 people.

And that's if all the busses in the US were doing it at once. Something that would certainly be noticed.

MAGA are just dilusional. Unfortunately, nothing based in reality can change that.

[–] Wolf@lemmy.today 14 points 6 days ago* (last edited 6 days ago)

That's really, really stupid, but even that isn't as dumb as "There is no list, and if there is a list I'm not on it, and if I am on it it's Biden's fault, and if there's proof I'm a pedo it's a hoax, and I haven't even thought of pardoning Maxwell, but I totally could, and If I do it's not because she produced a bogus list that I'm not on but all my enemies are."

"planted" by "fact checkers"

[–] Beero@lemmy.world 8 points 6 days ago* (last edited 6 days ago)

The fucking Biden crackheads of course! With the help of Muslim Obamas Kenyan relatives. Lock em up!

[–] tired_n_bored@lemmy.world 22 points 6 days ago (1 children)

It always happens to the best people. I hate when the same happens to me

[–] criss_cross@lemmy.world 23 points 6 days ago

Don’t you just hate when you’re maliciously added to a giant scandal that you had nothing to do with? It’s always the ones that were perpetrated by a man that you knew for 15 years that described you as his only friend and that introduced you to your current wife.

Happens to me all the time too.

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 21 points 6 days ago

MAGA, I gotta tell you, we all think you're dumb enough to believe this.

[–] Pat_Riot@lemmy.today 9 points 6 days ago

I thought you said that there were no Jeffrey Epstein files, Mr Presidon't. Which is it?

[–] sirico@feddit.uk 13 points 6 days ago

It's also now a hoax

[–] peoplebeproblems@midwest.social 15 points 6 days ago (1 children)

Planted?

Damn yo, how'd that happen?

[–] tburkhol@lemmy.world 14 points 6 days ago (1 children)

They will say that Biden had those files for 4 years. Anything could have happened.

[–] krashmo@lemmy.world 10 points 6 days ago

That isn't an irrelevant point. Not because Trump was falsely added to the Epstein files but because it's yet another angle the Biden DOJ could have taken to do something consequential about Trump. Instead they repeatedly stalled and chose to pursue only the most trivial of accusations with any real sense of urgency, apparently hoping that ignoring the problem would make it go away, or at least buy them some political goodwill. Now we're all stuck dealing with the fallout of treating a traitor with kid gloves.

[–] MedicPigBabySaver@lemmy.world 13 points 6 days ago

Not planted. You disgusting Pedo POS.

[–] ReallyActuallyFrankenstein@lemmynsfw.com 12 points 6 days ago (1 children)

MAGA: What's this? A reason I can stop caring about my god-emperor being probably almost certainly definitely a pedophile? Yes please!

"We were 'pals' for fifteen years and no one thought to mention it until the deep state decided to retroactively add my name. Just like how the FBI never catalogues the associates of any other person under criminal investigation."

[–] Goretantath@lemmy.world 11 points 6 days ago (1 children)

All he does is lie, why should we believe him?

[–] don@lemmy.ca 10 points 6 days ago (1 children)

We don’t, because we know he lies. Conservatives, however, are very well known for being incredibly gullible.

[–] sad_detective_man@leminal.space 10 points 6 days ago (1 children)

have you ever just not asked someone because you already knew they were going to lie anyway?

[–] null_dot@lemmy.dbzer0.com 8 points 6 days ago (1 children)

Oh man. Kinda triggered by this.

In my early 20s, (20 years ago) I became entangled with my first girlfriend. It was awful, but I somehow believed that relationships were about "making it work" which I interpreted to mean coping with whatever abuse.

She was a compulsive liar. I'd never encountered anything like that before.

I remember thinking that her lies were my fault because I'd asked her about something that she didn't want to tell the truth about. Wow, that was a trip.
