Left handed, left pocket, nothing else in that pocket. Sometimes left coat or jacket pocket but prefer pants.

Left, because my keys are in my right pocket and I don’t want to scratch the phone
Same. Left pocket is phone, and phone alone.
Right pocket is everything else.
Left handed, right pocket. Nothing else goes in that pocket.
Right pocket on the uniform, because I fear putting my shears and stethoscope in the same pocket, and the shears have a tip that doesn't facilitate the left pocket, and the stethoscope rubber is too grabby on the phone.
Left pocket in general, because my wallet is in the right and I hate them clanking together.
Left. Because my keys, cigarettes, and lighter are in the right and there's no more room for the phone.
Between my butt cheeks as it helps me stay fit by clenching my butt all day.
Also, in my roght pocket as I'm right handed and use my phone a lot.

Nice try, phone thieves.
Right handed, phone front left, keys front right, wallet back right. It's a perfect system. Not sure about other countries but in the US the key start is always on the right side of the steering column and I unlock doors with my right hand.
Wallet and Keys in left pocket, phone and everything else in right.
I never use the back pocket.
Huh, I just considered I don't have a typical pocket I put my phone in. I'm right handed and I think I tend to put my phone in my left pocket more? Maybe? But I just took it out of my right pocket so I'm not sure.
Gotta ask, are you the type of person that regularly misplaces things?
Me?
Never.
(Perhaps)
I see you. My best friend is the type of person who never knows where his things are, and part of that is he doesn't have a set system for where things go. My wife is the same way, but until the patriarchy puts more pockets in women's clothes she gets a pass on that one.
I mean, not having a set system makes it harder to find things sure. But for me the moment my autopilot brain doesn't place my keys exactly where I normally put them, I will have to search for them.
I have a semi system at this point for most of my stuff. I don't carry much with me though.
I'm right-handed and carry my phone in a belt pouch on my left. I take it out and hold it with my left hand while I tap or type with my right. I do all of my typing with a swype-type keyboard, so I just use my right hand for that too.
Nice try pickpocketer!
Right handed, right back pocket (front if my trousers don't have back pocket). Or more often in my handbag.
For me it was always clear to have my wallet in my right pocket and my phone in the left one. I never questioned this until now..
I didn't mention this in the post ~ but I keep both my phone & wallet in my left pocket (I have a slim wallet though).
The right pocket is for keychain, pocket knife, loose coins, etc. Generally "unsorted" things.
Same to me lol
Same as you. Right Handed, left pocket. My wallet is in my right front pocket. I would bet my older age has everything to do with this.
Right handed, left pocket.
When I was deciding what went where, I drove a car with actual locks and cell phones were really only for calls, you didn't spend all day looking at it. So my keys spent more time in my hands than my phone did.
Now it's a habit and I can't change it.
Samesies. My keys always went in my right pocket so when cellphones came along that went to the left front pocket to protect it from my keys.
Phone right front. Wallet right back.
Keys left front. You can't keep a phone and keys in the same pocket. Especially not with the size of modern phones.
Consistency means I always know if I've forgotten my phone keys/wallet. There's never searching or wondering where they've gone.
My parents taught me to never keep my wallet in my back pocket due to the risk of causing back problems.
I used to keep mine in my back pocket, then I noticed that my leg would go numb during long drives. Kinda put two and two together and started keeping it in the front pocket.
Well, lookee here at Mr. Moneybags who actually has enough bills for that to be a concern! \s
I use a very thin bifold wallet like this (stock photo; not my ID):
Mine is currently 13.6 mm thick, folded with all my cards and stuff in it. (I happen to have a set of Vernier calipers sitting on my desk in front of me so I went ahead and measured, LOL.)
Wallet back right, phone back left. When I sit down, I pull it out.
Right handed, left pocket.
Right handed, right pocket 95% of the time. Occasionally I catch myself using the left pocket if for whatever reason storing it in the right requires an awkward movement.
Usually left back or side pocket, or in my hand, or under one leg/between my legs if I'm sitting.
Left-handed, left pocket. Just habit I guess. Right side is always keys and headphones.
For temporary stowaways around the house (especially when cooking) it can go in either of the back pockets, depending on which hand I'm holding it with.
I use whichever pocket is handy, and I can be seen checking all my pockets every 45 seconds to remind me which pocket my phone is in, lest I need it.
Rinse and repeat.
The "white man's haka" in my country
Pocket? I keep everything in a cross body bag.
This is the way. I've used a purse for years and it is so much better.
Car keys in right pocket. Phone in left. I think it's because cell phones weren't very common when I started driving, haha. So my keys beat my phone to the right pocket by about 2 years or so.
Yeah I got my first phone around the time I started driving, and then it really only had enough minutes for emergencies or letting my parents know where I'd be. Also I start the car with my right hand so left pocket seems silly.
Back left pocket
I keep my phone in my right pocket and keys in the left pocket. I started this habit in high school in 1998 when I got my first phone and just have carried the habit along, it is the most convenient for me.
Am I the only one that quite often leaves it at home?
I’m the same, right handed but phone in left and use phone with left hand.
No preferred pocket for anything. I put my phone in any pocket is easily reached with the hand is holding the phone at that moment.
Sometimes is the front pocket, sometimes is the back pocket, the pocket of the hoodie, inner pocket of the jacket, a bag, breast pocket of a shirt if it is big enough.
Anarchy!
