🇾🇪❌🇾🇪🇸🇦 — Yemen’s Houthis (Ansarallah) announced that they struck Saudi troop concentrations, weapons depots, and command centers in the Mokha area and at Tadaween camp in Marib with a large-scale barrage of ballistic missiles and drones, leaving dozens killed or wounded, including Saudi personnel.

The group says it will continue targeting Saudi military buildups that are intended to escalate the conflict.

It also renewed its warning to Yemenis fighting alongside Saudi-backed forces, urging them to withdraw "before it is too late."

I'm going to be honest, I'm extremely tired today for no reason. I doubt I'll make many comments on the posts because of this. Just one of those "gray days" as I call them.

🇺🇸 U.S. STRATEGIC OIL RESERVES FALL BELOW 300 MILLION BARRELS AS OIL PRICES SURGE AGAIN

The U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve has now fallen below 300 million barrels for the first time since the early 1980s, after months of emergency releases intended to suppress fuel prices and offset disruptions caused by the war.

❗️Iran pursues bilateral, trilateral monetary cooperation with BRICS members

Speaking at the BRICS summit in India, Iranian Central Bank Governor Abdolnasser Hemmati praised New Delhi’s leadership of the group and said Iran and India had begun strengthening cooperation in monetary, banking and digital economy sectors.

Hemmati said the summit offered a key opportunity to meet officials from BRICS member states with which Iran has the most significant monetary and banking ties.

He said Tehran believed BRICS members could conduct trade using their national currencies and was pursuing bilateral and trilateral monetary cooperation with other members of the bloc.

Iran to soon join BRICS New Development Bank

Tehran is pursuing bilateral and trilateral monetary cooperation within the bloc as members push trade in national currencies

    https://t.me/thecradlemedia/66061

❗️Iran says it will soon join BRICS Development Bank

Expand▪️Iranian Central Bank Governor Abdolnasser Hemmati announced that Iran will soon become a member of the New Development Bank (NDB), also known as the BRICS Bank, while attending the BRICS summit in India. He described the NDB as the most significant achievement of BRICS cooperation, praised India's presidency of the bloc, and said Iran and India have expanded cooperation in the monetary, banking, and digital economy sectors, as reported by Tasnim News Agency.

▪️Hemmati said the BRICS summit provides an important opportunity to strengthen Iran's monetary and banking ties with fellow member states. He added that BRICS countries are discussing greater monetary and financial cooperation, including conducting trade in their national currencies, and said Iran is seeking to establish bilateral and trilateral monetary cooperation with other BRICS members.

    https://t.me/thecradlemedia/66043

I personally think that this was one of the key reasons for the desperate attack by the US. Iran's inclusion in the BRICS Development Bank may make the entire sanctions regime of the US largely useless.

ANALYSIS OF ONE OF THE BASIRA PRESS ADMINS

🇨🇳 🇮🇷 🇺🇸 President Pezeshkian uses China as an example to justify negotiations with the US

Let's engage in a constructive analysis of this viewpoint.

    • China has atomic weapons, including hydrogen bombs which would wipe out most of North America

    • Unlike the Iranian liberal presidents (Rafsanjani, Khatami, Rouhani) who seek to keep Iran's economy weak and dependent on imports from the west (similar to the Lebanon model which has nearly zero domestic production), China has a robust domestic production economy and pioneers in knowledge based industries such as the development of advanced products, technologies, and more. They even develop their own technological infrastructure, such as computer chips, phones, and alternative operating systems (such as Harmony OS for Huawei). China is a global manufacturing hub and exports large amounts of consumer goods, which are no longer stereotyped as cheap quality but now includes high quality goods like cars (affordable price but luxury quality), phones, heavy machinery, etc. Neoliberal Iranian oligarchs have sought the opposite route for Iran via placing all of Iran's hopes on the west removing sanctions and allowing Iran to import goods which would tank Iranian domestic production and increase its dependency on foreign countries.

    • China jails and even executes corrupt officials. When Martyr Raisi found in a court of law that former president Hassan Rouhani's brother was guilty of embezzlement, the former president threatened to cause trouble if his brother went to jail, obstructing justice in order to protect his brother instead of preferring justice over family ties.

    • China doesn't glamorize nor import western liberal values, unlike the liberal oligarchs of Iran. The US is not portrayed romantically. "Sissy boy" culture, which is popular in US vassal states like Japan and South Korea, is banned on Chinese television. Their relations with the US are based on utility, not an inferiority complex before the US.

    • China uses its leverage of rare minerals to stifle the US tech market which needs them for computer hardware, while Iranian liberals are happy to sell away the leverage of the Strait of Hormuz because they have a soft spot in their heart for the US.

    • Despite this, China's dealings with the US routinely blow up in their faces. The US constantly harms China with trade wars, arresting of the Huawei CEO, banning Chinese cars and phones from the US, unleashing the Corona virus in Wuhan through Dr. Fauci, and more.

    • The US hasn't slaughtered Chinese in large amounts, unlike Iran, where they martyred our Leader and slaughtered countless civilians. Who would want to shake the hand of the Epstein regime?

    • The US violated every agreement with Iran, no matter who was president. Simple common sense suggests that negotiations, especially in an active war, with the US don't amount to anything. China is not in active war with the US. Even then, they're not really "negotiating" in terms of reaching a deal in which they capitulate to their adversary.

    • Islam clearly demands that we reject (do 'kufr') of taghut. China is not a Muslim country. This is a spiritual matter and the way of all the prophets of God. If China wants to have dealings with the dirtiest people on earth, that is their business. China also sells drones to Saudi Arabia which are used to kill Yemenis. Muslims are supposed to maintain their principles no matter the situation. This doesn't mean being isolationist nor impractical, but no amount of pragmatism should cause us to sell out our values.

Besides, Iranian liberals usually are cursing China in order to show to their beloved west that they are pinning all their hopes on the west and will even forego relations with decent allies and partners such as Russia, China, African countries, and other regional powers in hopes of an eventual US-Iran bromance. They finally speak well of China only to justify the naivety of regurgitating ad nauseum the slogan of "negotiations."

OK then: follow the good aspects of Chinese policies and make a strong Iran.

They touch on many valid points but as usual with many resistance channels, they unfortunately also have a bunch of weird esoteric drivel added in. I posted it because it was largely correct on its critique of Iranian liberals.

🇺🇸⚔️🇮🇷 The New York Times reports that the USS Abraham Lincoln's supply crisis traces back to Iran's opening strikes on the war's first days, when Iranian missiles and attack drones heavily damaged the U.S. Navy base in Bahrain, the fleet's main logistics hub in the region for decades.

With that hub destroyed and other regional ports like Fujairah also within Iranian missile range, the Pentagon shifted its supply chain to the British-run base on Diego Garcia, 2,200 miles from where the Lincoln and a second carrier strike group operate in the Gulf of Oman. Then-UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer initially denied the Pentagon access to Diego Garcia, only relenting on March 1 for what he called a "specific and limited defensive purpose." Iran later fired two medium-range ballistic missiles at the island; one fell short into the Indian Ocean and a U.S. warship intercepted the other.

The Lincoln has now spent nearly nine months at sea without a single liberty port, well past the point where its crew would be eligible for five "beer days" under Navy tradition. Trump dismissed Democratic senators' concerns about the deployment on Friday, saying the ship is being replaced by the USS George Washington, and separately said the deployment was "not nearly long enough." Hegseth said the U.S. can maintain the Hormuz blockade "indefinitely."

🇺🇸🇮🇷⚡️ — NEW: Text messages from a service member aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln, obtained by journalist Aaron Parnas, highlight dire conditions during the carrier’s prolonged deployment linked to operations against Iran, including shortages of fresh food and basic supplies.

The sailor said they had not had milk in three months and that the ship had received virtually "nothing fresh but meat," because it could be frozen. Fresh fruit and other food cannot survive the lengthy supply journey, with some shipments arriving "rotten."

The service member described the deployment as "the worst one," saying even sailors with extensive deployment experience considered it their worst "and believe it can get worse than this." They also expressed frustration over repeatedly extended time at sea and being kept away from their family longer than expected.

The sailor said another crew member he met in the smoke pit had suggested the deployment is “an experiment” by the government to determine how far it could "push sailors’ limits of being out to sea with the worst experience."

🇮🇱🇾🇪🇷🇺 Ansar Allah is using Russian satellites to guide its strikes on Saudi Arabia and Saudi-backed forces in Yemen, an anti-Houthi source from southern Yemen told Israel's KAN News. The source says Riyadh is aware of the Russian assistance and has passed the information on to the US — adding "there's no avoiding a significant response" to the escalating attacks.

KANN notes this echoes reporting from roughly two years ago that Russia supplied Ansar Allah with intelligence data to help target foreign and Western shipping in the Red Sea.

The source also said Oman is working behind the scenes to broker de-escalation between Ansar Allah and Saudi Arabia, though prospects currently look slim — Ansar Allah continues raising the stakes, believing the Saudis want to avoid direct confrontation.

Rant About SourceAnother egregious example of pro-resistamce telegram channels essentially trying to manifest something into reality without providing enough scrutiny to the source of the information. Do I think that the claim is extremely unlikely? No, in fact I'd argue it's more quite probable that Russia is aiding Yemen similar to how it's aiding Iran. However the source for this post is a fucking Israeli media outlet being informed by a Saudi-Puppet militia.

This is less than worthless in terms of credibility! Why just repeat this without any scrutiny?! Just because you want it to be true that Russia is aiding the Axis of Resistance doesn't make every claim to that effect an absolute truth.

It's annoying and irresponsible to do this.

    — 🇺🇸/🇮🇷 IRGC Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Naqdi:

‘The enemy always tries to count or estimate our number of missiles. I would like to clarify something.

The number of ballistic missiles we produce daily is more than the number we launch each day. In a country this vast, we can make them anywhere with no limitation.

Even if this war lasts for years, we would not run out of missiles, and we’d launch them until the last day.’

NOTE: If the General’s words are to be taken at face value—which I would, considering he was in the operations room of True Promise-1 and 2—that means Iran produces at least 10,000 missiles per year.

🇮🇱⚔️🇮🇷 Israeli officials admit Iran rebuilt its missile arsenal faster than three straight wars could destroy it

The Jerusalem Post reports that both IDF and Mossad officials have been surprised by the speed of Iran's post-war military recovery, including in the ballistic missile production capability that three separate rounds of strikes were meant to permanently degrade.

In October 2024, Israel struck 20 missile and industrial targets and assessed a year-plus setback to Iranian production. By early 2025, Iran had already returned to full production pace. Israel then struck around 100 targets in June 2025, again assessing a multi-year setback. Iran's missile stockpile instead grew from roughly 1,300 to 2,500 by February 2026.

During this year's 40-day war, Israel and the US struck over 2,600 targets in roughly 30,000 combined strikes, more than 100 times the 2024 tempo, and estimated $300 billion in damage to Iran's military-industrial base. Fast forward four months, and IDF officials now tell the Post that Iran is again rebuilding faster than expected across multiple capability areas, including ballistic missiles.

Israeli officials say the debate over how many missiles Iran retained after the war matters less now than the pace at which it's rebuilding. If Iran sustains production of 100–300 missiles a month, it could return to pre-war stock levels by early-to-mid 2027.

❗️Pentagon admits US strikes on Yemen killed over 150 civilians last year

The Pentagon has officially confirmed to the US Congress that its military operations against the Yemeni armed forces last year resulted in the deaths of 153 civilians and left 243 others wounded, according to a report published by The Hill.

The figures were detailed in a 12-page document submitted to the Senate Armed Services Committee on Monday, which explicitly cataloged three separate lethal operations carried out during the month of April last year.

Among the operations cited are an 6 April strike in Sanaa that killed five civilians, a devastating bombing on the Ras Isa port on 17 April that claimed 80 lives, and a subsequent attack in late April that killed another 47 people.

Despite acknowledging these extensive civilian casualties, the Pentagon's disclosure notes that an additional 15 separate incidents stemming from its aggressive campaign remain actively under review.

-The aircraft flew from Abu Dhabi to Tehran’s Mehrabad Airport and Karaj’s Payam International Airport on August 11 and 12, with each flight lasting around one hour before returning to the UAE.

-On June 8, the aircraft flew from Abu Dhabi to Mehrabad, allegedly transporting $3 billion worth of gold.

I'm not particularly a fan of the statement about gold. Is this Iran's gold? If not then it was likely stolen from Sudan by the UAE. I think one thing that Iran must be careful of in regards to asset retrieval is not falling into the trap of making Iranian economic development dependent on Western or Western aligned investment.

❗️Saudi Arabia announces start of multinational Red Sea coalition

ExpandSaudi Arabia and 13 other countries have confirmed the formation of a maritime military coalition aimed at protecting freedom of navigation through the Bab al-Mandab Strait, the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, with additional countries expected to join.

The initial members are Bahrain, Bangladesh, the Comoros, Djibouti, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Turkiye and Yemen.

The Saudi Ministry of Defense said on Thursday that 15 countries had signed a declaration, while 13 had so far completed the procedures required to formally join the coalition.

On 13 August, the ministry said on X: “The number of countries that signed the joint statement reached 15 countries, while 13 countries completed their national procedures, signed the coalition charter, and officially announced their accession.”

The announcement followed the alliance's third meeting, held on 13 August in Jeddah.

“This represents the actual launch of the coalition towards the stage of institutional and operational activation, while the rest of the countries continue to complete the necessary national procedures to join the coalition,” the Saudi Defense Ministry said.

The coalition's operational structure is still being developed. According to the ministry, members will share intelligence and information, coordinate operational planning, conduct joint naval exercises and drills, strengthen military capabilities and carry out joint maritime operations.

⭕️ Jewish settlers' siege in West Bank's Qusra aims to force Palestinian families from their homes

Expand▪️The Colonization & Wall Resistance Commission warned that ongoing settler attacks on Palestinian homes in the Ras al-Ain area of Qusra, south of Nablus, are becoming "a prolonged siege" intended to isolate families and force them to leave their homes. It said settlers have, since Sunday, erected tents and temporary structures between the homes, blocked access roads with stones, prevented residents from entering or leaving, and stopped visitors from reaching them.

▪️The Commission added that settlers have obstructed the delivery of food, water, and medicine while cutting off electricity and water supplies to the homes belonging to the Yousef Abdel Salam, Rizq Abu Rida, and Luay Abu Rida families. It said attempts to storm and seize the properties began around four months ago, forcing family members to remain inside in shifts to prevent their takeover.

Between January 2024 and July 2026, the UN verified that 174 Palestinian children were killed—equating to "more than one child every week"—while more than 1,500 were injured, nearly half by live ammunition.

The briefing detailed profound systemic impacts, noting that over 800,000 children face barriers to education due to infrastructure damage, movement restrictions, and over 900 new checkpoints or barriers imposed across the territory in recent years.

UNICEF warned that at least 355 Palestinian children from the West Bank are currently held in Israeli military detention—the highest number in eight years—with nearly half detained without charge or trial under administrative detention amid reports of severe abuse and degrading conditions.

UNICEF outlined four urgent demands for the Council: protecting children under international law, ending forced displacement, safeguarding access to essential services and education, and ensuring unimpeded humanitarian operations.

    — 🇮🇱/🇺🇸/🇱🇧 NOTE: Earlier today, Yedioth Ahronoth reported that Israel was still awaiting the ‘green light’ from President Trump to seize Ali Al-Taher Hill, the strategic underground Hezbollah fortress where dozens of fighters are thought to be besieged

It seems the green light has now been given by the United States.

Attempt failed. Operations over for now. Hezbollah still controls the hill.

🇺🇸⚔️🇮🇷 Contradictory signals on whether the US-Iran truce, set to expire Aug. 17, will be extended.

Turkey's Anadolu Agency reports that Pakistani government sources say the US and Iran have "agreed" to extend the 60-day ceasefire under the Islamabad MoU, though the two sides are still exchanging messages on the length of the extension.

But a senior Iranian source tells Reuters otherwise: there's no talk of an extension because, from Tehran's view, no defined period ever began — so there's nothing to extend. The US violated the interim agreement 48 hours after it was signed and pulled out of it days later.

The Iranian source added that Washington returning to the interim agreement and setting a timeframe for implementing its commitments is under discussion via mediators, but there's been no progress on it.

Neither Washington nor Tehran has issued an official statement.

I don't trust Reuters but the statement from Iran seems consistent with their attitude towards negotiations thus far imo.

❗️Iran unveils domestic technology platform for designing and producing targeted cancer-killing viruses

ExpandIran has successfully developed and unveiled an indigenous technological platform dedicated to the design, genetic engineering, production, and purification of oncolytic, cancer-killing viruses, as reported by Press TV.

The breakthrough was showcased on Sunday during a ceremony marking the 46th anniversary of the Academic Center for Education, Culture and Research (ACECR), attended by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Health Minister Mohammad-Reza Zafarghandi.

Developed by the Advanced Cancer Therapy Technology Development Research Group under the leadership of Ramin Saramifaroushani, the platform is engineered to selectively target and destroy malignant cells while sparing healthy tissue.

According to Press TV, the initiative has successfully advanced past laboratory and preclinical stages, allowing the country's first domestically engineered oncolytic virus to officially enter initial clinical trials for treating resistant cancers.

Health Minister Zafarghandi lauded ACECR for bridging scientific research with national healthcare needs. Officials emphasize that the new biomedical infrastructure will significantly reduce reliance on foreign technology while expanding national capabilities in next-generation gene therapies, advanced therapeutic medicinal products, and commercialized medical biotechnology.

🇺🇸⚔️🇮🇷 Trump's "total control" of Hormuz claim is falling apart under its own data.

ExpandTrump has repeatedly claimed the US has "100% control" and "owns" the Strait of Hormuz, calling the blockade "a wall of steel" and insisting "there is nothing Iran can do about it." His own Energy Secretary, Chris Wright, backed him up with a claim of ~9 million barrels/day flowing through the strait.

The numbers say otherwise. Ship-tracking data from Kpler shows just 14 vessels crossed the strait Tuesday — down from ~130/day before the war — and 11 of those 14 used the route Iran controls. CNN reports only 84 total vessels transited last week, with just 6 crossing Monday, none of them crude tankers. Reuters separately clocked a one-week low of 8 vessels. Middle Eastern producers have already maxed out pipeline capacity trying to route around the strait entirely, and analysts note satellite imagery shows tankers still crossing with transponders switched off just to avoid detection — hardly the picture of a US "wall of steel."

Iran, for its part, says the obvious: Washington doesn't control the strait, and Tehran retains the capacity to disrupt traffic whenever it chooses — a claim the empty shipping lanes back up far better than Trump's Truth Social posts do.

❗️US must admit 'final defeat' says Iranian official

Chairman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Iranian Parliament, Ebrahim Azizi, stated on Friday that Iran "will stop confronting the US until final defeat," cautioning that the US must recognize that "if it again makes a mistake in its calculations towards Iran and exposes the security of our people to danger, we will rob it of security in various parts of the world."

According to ISNA, Azizi further stated, “The message addressed to the Americans is to accelerate their withdrawal from the West Asia region, and to record this scandalous defeat in their memories."

    ❗️IRGC announces new mid-flight course-correction missile technology

ExpandIranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) spokesman Hossein Mohebbi announced that Iran has developed advanced missile capabilities allowing projectiles to alter their trajectories mid-flight to bypass adversary air defense systems.

Speaking in northern Iran's Qazvin during a ceremony marking Journalists' Day, Mohebbi stated that domestic military technology has evolved beyond fixed-trajectory launches.

According to statements published by IRNA, the spokesman emphasized that these upgraded guidance systems were deployed during recent hostilities to target critical power infrastructure.

Mohebbi framed the developments within the context of ongoing technological warfare, asserting that strategic objectives extend past physical destruction to systematically disrupt opponent decision-making and defense frameworks.
