The Wii Fit game (I forget the actual name) let you enter your pets and track their weight. Then they'd sometimes show up and run beside you while you were running or cycling around the island. It was a great touch.

I can't fire it up to look. Our tabby that passed away in 2020 is probably still on there, as is our gray and white cat, who is not doing well - we're at the "keeping him comfortable" stage. (He's okay for now, he's still a happy cat, but he probably only has a few months left.)

I had the game spoiled for me, so I just played the pacifist route. Every replay, pacifist. I thought about doing a neutral or a bad route, but I couldn't bring myself to do it.
