That would be a paradox. Not possible. (Especially in this case)

That made my day

Proof? From Elon?

You really think Musk cares about these details?

Or made by himself with PowerPoint

Let's not forget that's devices sold per year. If you replace all iphones, that's about 3 billion I think. This number looks a lot different.

Comparing this to global energy production is not really helpful, in my opinion.

Everything he says about anything is worthless

"bug fixes" which introduce new bugs

Let's do the math. Apple sells about about 200 million devices a year. Let's say they remove the charging port and completely rely on wireless charging, which isn't completely unrealistic. If we use your 30wh this would result in 6.96GWh or lost energy every single day. With 150wh it would be 34.8GWh.

If that's not significant for one dumb decision I don't know what is.

Wireless charging is a waste of energy

Auszug Volksbegehren:

  • Abtreibungspille rezeptfrei
  • Abtreibungs-Strafgesetz-Paragraphen streichen
  • Inflationssenkungsgesetz FÜR Österreicher!
  • Verfassungsgerichtshof ohne Parteipolitik

Before the shooting, social media companies relaxed their protocols around misinformation.

In the weeks and months before the Aug. 8 shooting at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention headquarters in Atlanta, posts tying Covid vaccines to mental illness accrued millions of views online.

Previously more tightly moderated, some of the world’s largest social media platforms now operate with far fewer guardrails, allowing vaccine misinformation to flourish.

On X, for example, verified accounts with hundreds of thousands of followers openly claimed in recent weeks that Covid vaccines act like “chemical lobotomies,” which is false.

On Facebook, health influencers with broad reach alleged that Covid vaccines cause severe brain damage or other severe side effects such as cancer, despite no scientific basis for those claims.

And on TikTok, videos repeating the debunked claim that vaccines cause autism drew hundreds of thousands of views this year, spreading doubt to wide audiences.

Microsoft is being sued by a man who feels cheated by the current plans to sunset Windows 10. He makes some good points, but I doubt he'll win.
